He has beaten an undefeated champion in two different weight classes in two consecutive fights and is fighting Spence to try to make it three. What else do you want?

We all know Easter got a gift decision over Fortuna. And I guarantee almost everybody on this forum couldn't name the guy that Lipinets beat to win his belt without googling it.
Even if you argue this, how much does it really matter?
Cats who box and understand boxing at a high level can recognize talent / skill with the eye test. I question anyone's knowledge of the sport who can't.
I don't need to see a fighter beat X or Y fighter to prove to me they have it, I can recognize "it" watching you work against a sparring partner. The things I look for in a fighter that are telling, have nothing to do with who is in front of them. How a fighter reacts in adversity is a completely different discussion to someone's general boxing ability, all things equal and static. Heart is proven through challenges, whether they are an elite opponent on paper, or just a stylistic ether for you.
That euro bum at 140 is his best win, the one that no-one knows the name of (Ras*****???) who got his belt as a matter of circumstance/luck.
Still, if losing to Salido can make you p4p#1 then Mikey must be p4p#0
Losing to Salido in your 2nd pro fight is not an embarrasment. Making Walters and Rigondeaux quit in your first 11 fights is special. It doesn’t take much of brain to see that.
