He did yeah, by beating a terrified Bruno and Seldon. Wow.
He had two wins over Ruddock, but he was clearly deteriorating and was nowhere near the Tyson of a few years before.
He never was again, that was my point. He still got some wins, but once he was on the slide, it was all one way.
Lewis wasn't like that. He got better after his defeats. True champion.

That's with who Tyson chose to sign.
Poor Mike; he was such a naive victim.

      Give me a break, ******.
Again, Mike was 21/22 at the time and young kids from the ******, who've never had money make terrible decisions all the time.

Just look at rappers, NFL, and NBA players who get loot and end up getting taken for everything they own.

If you just hate Tyson just say so, but let's not pretend that what happened to Tyson via Don King doesn't happen to young poor athletes/entertainers every single day.

I can tell you're not from the hood because if you were then you'd know that there's a difference between being "street smart" and being "business smart".

Mike wasn't business smart, Don King took advantage of him using the racial angle of White people exploiting him and fleeced him.

Muhamad Ali was much smarter than Mike Tyson and he got tooken. Why wouldn't Mike?

        Hate ?

The guy is evil from head to toe.

He admitted to Torres " I like to hurt women; it gives me pleasure".

That's the individual millions of idiots chose to adore and
idolize during his "Undisputed truth" entertainment special for ******ed morons.

He got his **** pushed in as a child and chose to perpetuate the violence unto others when grown up.

Tyson has been a certified walking scum ever since he entered boxing.

"I'm going down in history as a HW legend: you're going down as a sonofa*****"

          So, you hate the guy.

That's why you keep bringing up things that have nothing to do with boxing.

I never said Tyson was an angel or a saint, but none of his personal things have anything to do with what we're talking about here, which is boxing and how Don King fleeces boxers.

Muhammad Ali, Tim Witherspoon, Larry Holmes, and countless others have been taken by him, so it's not that out of the norm for Tyson to.

If you've got beef, go take it to Mike personally.

I'm sure he'd love to discuss them with you.

            Hate by definition is irrational.

I've just pointed out rational facts proving the guy is scum.

If you don't agree with them, show me where they don't square.

And if you like the guy so much, take your 12 year daughter and put it in the same room as Tyson, close the door and then run the statistics.

Truth. I think even Tyson knows he’s overrated as a fighter. Not as an attraction. Being overrated is a compliment though, means u are liked, underrated means u weren’t. If ur 19-22yr HW and that’s considered ur prime what else is there to say? I’m a huge Mike fan. I’ve said it a bunch of times on this board, my old man a day after the Spinks fight told me a guy named Evander Holyfield would beat Mike Tyson. He took the bets at even odds when it happened. Nobody has ever hated Mike Tyson on the level that posers love him and think he beats everybody.

We were having a BOXING discussion and you chose to invade a boxing discussion with personal life things that have nothing to do with boxing. That's a hate problem. This aint about whether the guy was a criminal or not. This is Boxing Scene, not Law & Order.

The truth is he went to King because that's what thugs do: they associate.

Tyson had been arrested 32 times before 11. And while under Cayton and D'Amato's wing, he still assaulted numerous women and remained free thanks to Cayton settling out of court.

While in jail, he called King a SOB but still went with him after getting out in 95.

He then paid Lewis step aside money and relinquished the WBC belt as to avoid him.

He called Foreman an animal he would never fight.

He picked Holy only because he was perceived as hopelessly washed up from the Bowe and Moorer beatings.

                  The lies y'all tell y'allselves
agree with all this --EXCEPT , he would have been crushed by Lewis then , and was crushed by him later on .

You doon't seem able to discriminate hate from judgement.

In your mind, anything short of adulation falls into the hate category.

Before being a boxer, Tyson is a human being.

I'm pointing out his shortcomings as a human being, because it will determine the type of boxer he is.

Bullies in real life will look to perpetuate the bullying in the ring.

Was Tyson a bully in the ring ?

                    Holyfield's ear ? Botha's arms ? Norris' late blow ?

Bullies in real life will associate with individuals allowing them to remain that way.

Which of Cayton or King was more susceptible to condone Tyson's bullying inside and outside the ring ?

Don't say King, that would mean you hate the guy.

We were having a boxing discussion.

It's obvious that you're not interested in having a boxing discussion and just want to talk about a dude you hate.

And yes, I do hate Don King.

He's a black man who robs black (and other) fighters and leaves them with nothing, and he's an enabler of the Trump administration.

                      So yeah, f**ck Don King.

Unlike you, I'm willing to admit when I hate a mothef***cker. I don't hide behind some other sh***t like you do.
