The Wilder Fury delays don't make me think the fight won't happen. They make me think they are close to reaching a deal that includes a rematch at the expense of some of Wilder's percentage. Maybe even 50/50. If I were Fury I'd be saying no rematch and go to purse bids.
Purse bids don't help Fury though. He'll have better leverage without them in the splits . The WBC knew this so they made the fight a mandatory for actually no reason but to help Wilder. Fury should just walk away period.

Whytes not getting Wilder. The mandatory doesn't even mean much with Wilder holding the belt, so to peruse Wilder isn't real practical when he's going to be Joshuas mandatory end of the year who will fight him .

It's why I don't see Whyte going to U.S to fight Breazeale unless it's in the U.K and if he does he's contradicting himself about self worth with the Joshua debacle.

Whyte should just take the Joshua fight but it's to late so ????? Whyte vs Breazeales a great fight hope it happens but We'll see if Whyte talked himself out of a Joshua fight soon if he takes a U.S Breazeales fight.

Hopefully it gets made eitherway, it's a good fight.

Fury will have better leverage in the splits, but you know that's coming at the cost of signing up now to a rematch.

If he were to beat Wilder then he'd be able to offer the rematch on his own terms. Or take some serious profile into an Undisputed fight. Or just make some money in a voluntary.

Mind you, who knows what the setup would look like at purse bids. It's the WBC we're talking about.

They just pushed it back. I called it. There was no way the WBC would stay true to their word and there was no way that they would let DAZN come in and buy the fight. Man boxing is a corrupt sport...

Why would they need to? Purse bids are to force a fight when negotiations break down. There was never any indication that negotiations had stopped or any danger of this fight not being made. However, yes boxing is corrupt as hell

How many times do you need to be told that this is not an unusual occurrence?

To have purse bids pushed back by request of both teams is totally normal. Both teams would rather do a deal than go to purse bids.

Eddie Hearn said this himself on IFLTV. He said purse bids being pushed back four of five times isn't even unusual.

Obviously they are close to a deal so the WBC are allowing them time to complete it.
