Nah, he has good pop though.
Is 2019 Canelo more Heavy Handed than Prime GGG or Jacobs?

Who knows, he hasn't fought yet in 2019. Lets see how he does in the Jacob fight. One thing is clear doe, he's still young and would only get better. If he stops better quality fighters than GGG did then we can all agree with the TS. For me its easy to look like a killer against low level competition.Comment

Not really ironic. I think Golovkin was near prime but not prime vs. Canelo. Canelo fought a stiff in Fielding and a dehydrated Chávez past his prime. I’m sorry but Canelo beating either guy meant nothing. And I would give Golovkin no credit had it been him instead of Canelo. Golovkin would have got zero credit, and rightfully, for “moving” up vs. Fielding and Chavez. Only his most fanatical fans would have pumped those fights up.Isn't the irony that Golovkin didn't knockout Canelo? Canelo fought Chavez Jr. who at Zbik and Andy Lee days was rehydrating in the 185lbs. Canelo fought Chavez Jr., GGG has never fought anyone above 164, but Canelo did.
Could Canelo knockout Stevens, Ouma, Adama, Proksa, Rosado?
Again at this point there really isn’t a question.Comment

Small doesn’t relate to height. GGG has the bigger torso. That’s where their strength comes from. Just like Kosta Tsyzu, or Lemieux, these heavy handed guys rely on power from their upper body whose frames are bigger than their arms by proportion. Look at GGG’s frame compared to Jacobs, Danny is more thin on the upper torso. Also GGG had to succumb to the IBF rehydration rule, Danny decided not to. With a guy like Danny who can rehydrate easily to 178-180lbs like Pavlik is a different challenge than against Canelo. Canelo’s a stocky guy, but when you stretch out his mass equally he thins out just like GGG.Comment

Like I said, 2019 Canelo - a Prime 28 - I think is his most explosive power yet. Just like Jacobs haters, they downplayed his achievements even after the GGG fight with his chin, just to push a debate that GGG was always above him. So let’s wait and read the excuses after this fight. Not really ironic. I think Golovkin was near prime but not prime vs. Canelo. I agree that Canelo is in his prime now. At this point I don’t think there really is a question. Let’s see how he fares against Jacobs. I think Jacobs is an excellent fighter. Jacobs has seen haters from all sides, including Canelo fans before and after the Golovkin fight.Like I said, 2019 Canelo - a Prime 28 - I think is his most explosive power yet. Anyways it is a very good matchup.Comment

I’m more than sure Canelo NOW - PRIME strength - stops any GGG opponent from his resume. Ouma, Adama, Proksa, Rosado. Pick a random name. Jacobs is an important fight.Comment

Telling it like it is isn't being a Jacobs hater. Danny lost that fight. I'm a Golovkin fan and I wasn't mad at Jacobs even after he pulled the weigh in slight of hand. I was annoyed but there is no hate.Like I said, 2019 Canelo - a Prime 28 - I think is his most explosive power yet.
