I think the thread title includes “2019.” Canelo is 28.

I doubt fans assume PAC knocking down Algieri 6 times means “hells nah, Pac was KOng guys at Super Bantamweight, so there’s no way Pac could KO Hatton at a 140. Derp derp derp!”
Why are you bringing up the Charlo sisters and Pacquiao? You completely avoided the question. I don't care how old canelo is. I'll ask again, who has canelo stopped or dropped that warrants this claim of "power"in 2019? The guy that the real wba 168 lb champ stopped in 1 round?

Smith said that Nelo has better power than Munguía thats a big and young guy.

Canelo is not a k.o artist, he is a very Smart fighter with a lot of tools.

But he likes to choose his shots.
So canelo runs on the ropes the 1st fight and it's considered boxing, but when golovkin does it in the rematch ,and doesn't even touch the ropes it's considered running? Great double standards. The question that TS ask was weather canelo has more power than ggg and Jacobs, not mungia,so Smith's opinion is irrelevant. Even then, mungia is a 154lb fighter, not a middleweight. As for the Lara fight canelo clearly got outboxed, and was nowhere near close to dropping Lara. The same Lara that got dropped multiple times by angulo. Speaking of which, canelo couldn't even drop angulo, the ref had to stop the fight because the ginger threw the kitchen sink and the guy and couldn't do anything.

Canelo took a lot less of damage in the first fight than GGG in the second.

GGG took much punches in his face in the rematch and he got his face destroyed and the liver shots of canelo were sick.

Abel said GGG "go, attack him" and GGG never did it.

Clearly canelo is better fighter and has more tools than GGG

        Fu.ck no.

Lara fight was too close, I had it 115-113 to Nelo, outboxed? Hahahaha

Canelo has very good power, thats real, but he is a Smart fighter

I’m not sure how this is even a question at this point. He hasn’t knocked anyone out above 160 or even down excluding Fielding which no one with credible in boxing things means anything.

He puts down Jacobs or KO’s him revisit the conversation.

Double standards? You do realize you just proved him right?

Being against the ropes =/= running. Canelo had his back against the ropes with his feet planted and still GGG was missing.

GGG not ever touching the ropes means he was constantly moving around and running so his back wouldn't go against the ropes.

So technically yes GGG ran all fight and canelo didn't.

Stop spewing out the same shlt paulie malignaggi is saying.
Please tell me how having your back against the ropes while planted = running?

Your boy ggg was on his bike the whole damn fight. Not even once did he plant his feet to trade.

Isn't the irony that Golovkin didn't knockout Canelo? Canelo fought Chavez Jr. who at Zbik and Andy Lee days was rehydrating in the 185lbs. Canelo fought Chavez Jr., GGG has never fought anyone above 164, but Canelo did.

Could Canelo knockout Stevens, Ouma, Adama, Proksa, Rosado?

I brought up Charlo and Pacquiao because they can lift great white sharks not from sea water or fresh water, but from Sugar Water, while also being at Flyweight. I think Charlo's power is like Pacquiao's from Flyweight and Super Lightweight.

Easier to understand when better referenced yes?
I'd suggest that on any given night he could probably KO any one of 'em but I seriously doubt that he would KO all of 'em were he to run through Golovkin's resume.

Is there some underlying purpose to this speculation?

Why because he KO'd Fielding? Both GGG and Jacobs hit harder than Canelo
