Wait, don't all u come on here and say Canelo was too young and green when an old Floyd dominated him? But now are asking a young Tank with less than 20 fights take on a prime Loma? Double standards? Ppl on here don't even want Munguia to step cause he's too young

The irony is Loma/Tank is similar to Floyd/Pac. Loma and Floyd are the mega technicians. Tank and Pac are the somewhat less skilled but very devastating punchers (at least how they were/are viewed to be).

Pac's promoter wanted to keep Pac away from Floyd for as long as possible. Tank's promoter wants to keep Tank away from Loma for as long as possible. The promoters don't want to mess up their money by risking a progress halting loss.

The only difference is Tank's promoter has a more valid excuse being that Tank is young, not as experienced, and it can be argued that he is not yet in his prime, while Pac was primed and ready.

Yeah they will let him age absolutely! That is nothing new in the sport of boxing AT ALL

I personally would like to see them do it sooner rather than Later BUT at the same time I can't pretend to be naive to the business side of boxing

Loma vs Tank is not a mega fight YET...but it can be for sure

Loma aged himself lmfao, no one told him to stay amatuer fighting kids till he was like 25.

Why does Tank have to speed up his timeline because of choices lomachenko made?

There are more important fights for Davis. Like that kickboxing guy from Japan...
And you can't rush greatness. They can always fight Loma when he's 40.

Of course, that's what Floyd did with Pacquiao. Everyone predicted more than a year ago that he'd try the same thing with Loma.

Also lol @ him calling Loma "very, very old." Dude's only pushing 31. Knowing Floyd, he probably thinks 31 is only a few years away from 40.

Where is the common sense? They can make the fight when Tank is ready, not when he's at a disadvantage.
Exactly, he will try to make it when the other guy is at a disadvantage instead.

The fight won't happen until Loma is washed or gets beat up then has a win or 2 on the comeback trail.

Good post but the difference then was they both had other quality opposition to fight until they finally ran out of options and had no choice.

Lomachenko and Davis have basically nobody that moves the needle unless either one fight Mikey at 135. 130 is a solid division but nobody has a big name and 135 is pretty much Lomachenko, Commey, and now Teofimo Lopez. We don't know where mikey will end up after he gets beat up next month.

These guys should be fighting in 2020 at 135. Tank can't comfortably make 130, I think that's obvious after the last few fights and Lomachenko is at his limit it looks like. If Garcia comes back, Lopez ends up being what he could be and tank moves up, the division will be loaded and have great fights available later this year or early next.

Lomachenko has to fight as many fights as possible, extremely quick, because he's very, very old. Tank is like 10 years or 11 years younger than Lomachenko. Lomachenko will be 40 before you know it," Mayweather said.

"There is no rush. Tank just has to keep doing what he's doing. [Davis] is making the same money that Lomachenko is making - and [Davis] is doing it easier. Lomachenko is a hell of a fighter and I like Lomachenko. But after Tank went and beat the champion up [Jose Pedraza], Lomachenko went and beat Tank's leftovers and he went the distance.

Every fight since 130 its the same thing “There’s no rush to fight Loma”
why does he say Loma is 10-11 ears older And almost 40? Loma is 31 and Tank 24. Lol

Why does Loma have to fight Tank anyway? There are bigger pay days out there for him.
