Is Floyd trying to age Loma?

Or does he not want to work with Arum and espn?

"We're not going to call any particular fighter out, and it's not like we're ducking and dodging anyone. Lomachenko has to fight as many fights as possible, extremely quick, because he's very, very old. Tank is like 10 years or 11 years younger than Lomachenko. Lomachenko will be 40 before you know it," Mayweather said.

"There is no rush. Tank just has to keep doing what he's doing. [Davis] is making the same money that Lomachenko is making - and [Davis] is doing it easier. Lomachenko is a hell of a fighter and I like Lomachenko. But after Tank went and beat the champion up [Jose Pedraza], Lomachenko went and beat Tank's leftovers and he went the distance.

Every fight since 130 its the same thing “There’s no rush to fight Loma”

Not surprised Mayweather is running his bumsquad promotion like his own career.

i dont think hes trying to age him or whatever that means..just dont think theres any hurry to make the fight....and of course dealing with arum is never going to be easy

fighting loma right now isnt going to be easy to make...and its not like it does for davis what fighting floyd did for canelo...not even close

AJ is waiting wilder out....canelo waited golovkin out a bit....but that just made sense....canelo already had a better resume than golovkin and was still just a kid really.....davis can wait another year or so and its still a juicy fight

Yes he's trying to age him out, it's the tried and true American method.

What punch of double talk from Mayweather. I am a big fan of Davis but it's obvious that Floyd doesn't want Tank to fight Loma. He is using that ****** leftovers BS. Davis KOed Pedraza because he is a huge puncher. Loma almost KOed Pedraza but Loma doesn't punch as hard as Tank. That doesn't mean Tank would beat Loma because Loma might outbox Tank and Loma hits hard enough to hurt Tank. Floyd has Loma this old man 11 years older than Tank which would make Loma 35 years old. Loma is only 30 years old. Yes, Mayweather is keeping Tank away from Loma until Loma shows signs of being well past prime and considering how hard Loma trains that might be many years from now.

A few fights ago he said Tank is ready and would fight Loma next, that he had a conversation with Todd dubeof and now it’s “Don’t ask us about fighting Loma” lol

Of course he is. The fight's there to be made right now but they know that time is on Davis' side.

It'll be interesting to see how much longer Davis can make 130lbs because as soon as he has to move up to 135lbs there will be nowhere to hide.
