Thank you!!!!!!Neither should have been a CW, Canelo asked for his and Cotto was forced by Arum, Cotto never wanted a CW he didnt even want his title on the line.
So Canelo is much bigger than Cotto , but you say the same 2lbs effected the bigger man as it did the smaller guy how can that be, you shot yourself in the foot lol.
Mikey from 135 last fight to 147 no CW, dont talk about Manny .

Here's what they're saying about the 143 catch weight that Team Pacqiao is insisting:

All of these comments point to one thing—Manny Pacquiao vs. Miguel Cotto is a mismatch at a catch weight of 143 lbs. They are one in saying that the said catch weight will favor the P4P King and drain all of the energy of Cotto come fight night.Comment

What's height got to do with anything? some Bantamweights are as tall as Mike Tyson. Ridiculous logic.
It's very apparent that Loma shouldn't be anywhere north of 135. I think that's his limit. He hasn't got a the frame for going much higher than that.
Pacquiao has a body type that can fill out decent to compete at 147, with very thick legs and things like that which add weight. Some fighters just don't carry the weight up that well. I don't know about the upcoming fight for Mikey Garcia and how he will look, but before he looked a bit fleshy once he was up to about 140.
