Ok, my bad. I really thought he was. And, yes, for the most part, a loss isn't the end of the world.

Right. I'm mixing it up with him being the WBC champ at the time.

For Pacquiao, DLH had to drop to 147 where he hadn't fought for 7-8 years. Floyd fought DLH 1.5 years earlier, at 154. DLH weighed 164 when he fought Floyd fight night, and was 147 when he fought Pac. Do the math.

Cotto had to drop to 145 while having the belt or was threatened by Arum he would get stripped. Also had to accept a 75-25 split, or close to it. Floyd fought Cotto at 154.
Pac wouldn't fight Mosley at 147 until he was almost 40...after Floyd beat him.
Pac fought Margarito at 150 for a 154 belt. What a joke.
Err, Floyd-JMM was a catchweight. Not much of a catchweight at 144 when Floyd showed up at 146.
They then changed the weight stipulation before the weigh in so Floyd wouldn't have to pay NSAC fine.
He just had to pay weight penalty to JMM.

Floyd-Maidana was at 147 but the WBA Jr Middle belt was also on the line.

Yeah, boxing has become a joke.

Canelo won the WBC Jr Middle belt Pac threw to the trash can on a catchweight title fight against the other Hatton.

Does anyone find it ironic that on the undercard the 40 year old warrior fought a young up hot prospect and yet the prime young champion fought a bum? Smith has fought a who's who of his division yet Davis fights I'm not gonna say bums but not exactly the top of the division. I feel for Smith he could have been managed better in the latter parts of his career.

Stop being an idiot! Floyd said "I want a fighter to be at their best, I dont do catch weights". He said: "I look at Miguel Cotto as an undefeated fighter because he faced Pacquiao, but Pacquiao caught him at a catch weight.” He also said "If a fighter is at his best at 154 and he’s strong and he’s solid, then that’s the fight we’re fighting at". Floyd is a hypocrite and my point still stands.

So just as Floyd fought Pacmans leftovers like Miguel Cotto and went the distance?

Loma is #1 P4P and Davis isnt ranked anywhere at the P4P level.

Loma = real man/fighter always trying to fight the best available opponent vs Davis = protected paperchamp handpicking soft opposition.

The bold: I was waiting for this one for a while.

Because Davis is not hyped enough. P4P is an opinion. I don't care what that says. I don't have a P4P BS, but I have a top 10 best fighters in the world, and Davis in there.

BoxRec has Floyd The Best Ever. You agree with it? That's what I think of rankings.

Can you give us some of Davis' flaws in the ring? Ruiz landed one good punch. Did you pay attention to his defense? Movement and reflexes. Those are only getting better. I won't mention power and strength.
