Floyd making money for his fighter and his company, Tank is young enough to do some take-down defense and actually have TMT make a lot of money in an MMA fight. Trump voters will pay for that

Tenshin in April, real boxing match in May. I don't see the problem.

You are missing the point. The point that Money May is making is that the kid Tank Davis is only 24 years old with only 21 professional prizefights. Therefore, he needs more seasoning, experience and time to develop at this stage of his career before challenging Vasyl Lomachenko.

It's very similar to when AJ became the unified Heavyweight champion after defeating Wladimir Klitschko. Both his trainer Rob McCracken and promoter Barry Hearn felt that Anthony Joshua wasn't ready for Deontay Wilder back then after only 19 professional prizefights.

Therefore, they were resigned into pushing back that fight as far as possible. They felt that he needed more experience, seasoning and time to develop before challenging Deontay Wilder for the undisputed Heavyweight championship of the world.

Both Barry Hearn and Anthony Joshua stated that they wouldn't have been ready until 2020 to fight Deontay Wilder. Therefore, Mayweather is only following the same blueprint as Matchroom Sport in regards to Gervonta Davis challenge of Vasyl Lomachenko.

Now imagine Loma go fighting Ukrainian dancer from fighting dance team who isn't a boxer! Then he goes fighting bums from 126 lbs for 2 years and Arum will tell you not to hate Loma but critisize Arum himself as Loma is just doing what promoter tells him. Ha-ha-ha-ha!

True and I am not dis*****g that fact. However, I just want the boxing fans to know that out of those six challengers I mentioned; Only one was a voluntary defense which was Dominic Breazeale. All the other contenders were for either title bouts or mandatory defenses.

My point is if Anthony Joshua is afforded the luxury to fight whomever he so pleases then Gervonta Davis should be afforded the very same privilege. He shouldn't be pressured into fighting Lomachenko right away if he doesn't feel ready or want to. Just like AJ he'll fight him when he gets ready.

If this is true, I'm out!

Mayweather can get away with this crap. He's retired and no one cares.

Davis is an active boxer and should be held to a higher standard.

Even if Mayweather IS pulling our legs it's not even funny and shows a severe lack of respect for the sport that brought him most of his wealth and accomplishments.

Mayweather is turning boxing into a complete circus. He is single handily going trying to ruin this sport. Davis is a true star and I don’t see anyone beating him including loma, but’s he may have to break away from Floyd if Floyd keeps handling his career like this . I mean look at the opponents Floyd lines up for jack and compare that to the opponents for Davis .
