Is Tyson Fury vastly overrated?

Extremely over-rated. 2 World title fights in 11 years as a pro. Zero punching power. A hands down style that would see him demolished by a prime Heavyweight great.
He's been boxing in one of the worst eras for Heavyweights in history or he would get nowhere near a World title.Comment

If you didn't spend years trolling about the HW scene I might debate this with you but I know it's pointless.
(the trolling itself was pretty decent though so respect on that level)Comment

I'm far from a klitschko hater I have a lot of respect for him but in all seriousness Fury is a guy who would always give him issues. Would a bit more handspeed help Wlad? Maybe, if he let them go.
Fury v Vitali would be a lot more interesting to me.Comment

He's hardly Fred Astair in there! All this bollocks about how graceful and slick he is. He is a herky jerky awkward big fella who controls distance quite well. But somehow he has been made into this fabled slickster who would beat a prime Apollo Creed with one hand while drinking a pint with the other.
Wilder is poo, and Fury won't have any joy trying to control the range against AJ. Joshua is a big lad too, and can deliver power on the inside.
TF has no chance against him.Comment

Red K bomb for calling the future GOAT, the HW Locche, Sweet Pea in Goliath's body, boxings Achilles, overrated. Most people now agree that Wilder is not all that. He just about got past an ancient Cuban unknown and then struggled against an ungainly drug and drink rehabbed fatty.
But what about Fury? He had that night against Wlad. A lethargic, lulled to sleep Wlad who simply didnt show up. He did well against Wilder, but now that we know Wilder is really awful, how much did that increase Fury's stock?
It's as though Arreola and say, John McDermott were unbeaten, and fought each other in a close and exciting scrap - but if they're both protected and overrated what did we learn? Joshua would destroy both of those guys on the same night. It's good to see many US based youtubers calling Wilder out for his ducking finally. Who knows...if he lands a lucky punch in Fury maybe public pressure will make him try for the one name one face one champion fight he has been running his mouth off about for years. Personally I believe he will either continue his ducking, or get beat anyway by Fury and go back to fighting bums in front of a couple thousand Alabamans in a town hall somewhere in redneck USA
Fury can stop you cold with both hands, fight from any stance, can throw more punches per round than Margarito, floats like a butterfly, and stings like a nuclear warhead.

He was underrated by US brigade on here prior to the Wilder fight. Now he's overrated on here.
Let's face it, he's had 2 fights of note. One brilliant performance against Klitschko and one decent performance against Wilder. I say decent as he was fighting a guy who can only launch rights - and he got put down twice.
Fury would give any fighter in history problems. But the best would find a way. And in a top level fight with Fury you typically get 12 rounds to land on him.
I think we have a good idea of how good Wilder is. Good chin, big man, holds his power late, limited boxing ability.
Fury is an open book in terms of what he can and can't do. Awkward huge man, can move and box but doesn't look too finish fights.
Joshua is still the unknown. Just 22 fights, a very good resume, yet we still don't know just how good he can be. No obvious weaknesses but some doubts as to his chin.Comment

Pretty hard to call him overrated when hes essentially proved hes the 2nd best heavyweight at the absolute worst.Comment

Yeah wlads whole game was based on controlling distance, jab, grab and lean. Pretty much unbeatable in his prime years against smaller fighters but he couldn't apply his best attributes against fury.Comment

Got called a hypejob, a fluke, got lucky fighting an old man etc. Came back after a 6-month Weight Watchers camp and totally outclassed the so-called greatest American Heavyweight out there, and now you're calling him overrated. Idiots.Comment
