    Is Tyson Fury vastly overrated?

Most people now agree that Wilder is not all that. He just about got past an ancient Cuban unknown and then struggled against an ungainly drug and drink rehabbed fatty.
But what about Fury? He had that night against Wlad. A lethargic, lulled to sleep Wlad who simply didnt show up. He did well against Wilder, but now that we know Wilder is really awful, how much did that increase Fury's stock?
It's as though Arreola and say, John McDermott were unbeaten, and fought each other in a close and exciting scrap - but if they're both protected and overrated what did we learn? Joshua would destroy both of those guys on the same night. It's good to see many US based youtubers calling Wilder out for his ducking finally. Who knows...if he lands a lucky punch in Fury maybe public pressure will make him try for the one name one face one champion fight he has been running his mouth off about for years. Personally I believe he will either continue his ducking, or get beat anyway by Fury and go back to fighting bums in front of a couple thousand Alabamans in a town hall somewhere in redneck USA

All the current HWs are pretty *meh*. In fact, they're hot garbage compared to prime Klitschkos.
But... the era is more exciting because none of these guys are head and shoulders above the others. They could all beat each other right now. So, it's a better era though the champs aren't all that good.

The Heavyweight division is so bad that Tommy Morrison would hold all 4 belts if he boxed in this era

I don't think so. Wilder's technique is total garbage but he's still a big puncher and Fury did very well in outboxing him and avoiding most of his shots.

Maybe a little, but not vastly.

Tyson Fury just had his first real fight back after a 2.5 year lay off and 3 + years since fighting his last challenge in Klitschko. We will see in the rematch how good Fury is and if he is indeed overrated or not, I think not.

I only read the first sentence about ortiz and the last sentence about rednecks and didn't have to see anything else to realize you're just trying to push an agenda by upping AJ and ****ting on Wilder.

I actually think of Fury like Broner, someone who became a world champion but lacked discipline and focus the more his star and reputation grew. The difference is, Fury always has a size advantage and his lack of discipline and focus hasn't caused him to lose.

Fury managed to beat Wlad (who was on an 11 year winning streak and in much better condition). Then, after 3 years of putting his body through hell and only fighting two tomato cans, he fought Wilder to a draw (who was also in much better condition).

Fury has still managed to stay undefeated against all reason. Look at Fury compared to Wlad, Wilder, and Joshua. Those other three are dedicated to boxing and fitness, yet Wlad and Wilder each had a rough night with Fury, and I don't think Joshua is in any rush to get in the ring with Fury either.

I think the draw was the best result that could of happened to Fury. Because now Fury seems to realize, that if he continues to stay focused and stays in shape between training camps, he has a good chance of beating both Wilder and Joshua.
