Even in the event he does move up, that fight happening is unlikely. Too many hurdles and politics.

I wouldn't see it as a blatant duck. I wanna see that fight as well.

It has nothing to do with that. I don't see SRL walking around obese...

It has to do with the lack of TMT logistical support for Davis. The kid needs a strict dieting program and better supervision than what he currently has. I doubt Mayweather cares tbh or what critics would say. Mayweather's ego for everything is "fine" is irresponsible. Then again, Davis was allowed to try and make weight.

There is a back story to not making weight in Vegas. Something about drinking leading up to the weigh in and being hungover. Very unprofessional stuff.

As for the first try comment. He made weight easy (129) versus Cuellar. Why he didn't this time is a problem for me, but mostly on the part of his team. He didn't look drained at all and I don't know how they forced almost half a pound of water out of him in 30 minutes. Which leads me to believe that his team is amateur hour and adds one more reason why Mayweather wanted to replace them all.

It is not the worst to be overweight by a little... except that you would think after it happens once and he got as penalized as he did he would be paranoid about it. You would think he would shoot for 129-ish for the weigh in as opposed to trying to squeeze it out perfect. I agree with those saying his team needs to take some gruff as well. If you are a 125.1 pound to 130 pound champion, you need to be there at weigh in, no excuse needed.

That said, he made weight and the fight is on. This could be a really fun scrap.

In all honesty I don't believe he's having trouble making weight. He looks fine I think it's more of his team not knowing how to time his weight cut correctly.

I think tank will move up in the near future but he won't face any killers at 135 right away. In all actuality there isn't really any "killers" at 130 or 135. Lomas not likely cuz he's TR ESPN, Mikey is a mystery as far as where he'll end up after Spence, Machado is big but green & not likely (TR) Lopez would be a good fight but he's TR so that's not happening either.

The best fight we'll realistically see Tank in is against Farmer. Not something I'm excited about because I feel Farmer has no power and eventually gets ko'd but I'd still like to see it

But he was a whopping .2lbs over this time and made the weight. Perhaps he will move up soon.

Well lets see Loma fought Pedraza at 135 whom tank kod easily & Loma struggled far more than Tank did at age 22 vs undefeated Pedraza. So I think if he moves to 135 it shouldn't be a disadvantage,it might be a big advantage from now because he can fill in those extra 5 lbs of muscle & become even better considering hes already koing guys Loma couldn't. I'm not saying triangle theories either, its sound thinking to think Tank might be better when hes not having to cut weight & can instead gain stamina possibly. The key is he is now grown enough to compete at 135,though I don't see him ever going to full 140,135 might just be his ideal division?
