I honestly don't think he is struggling that hard to make the weight, but just lacks the discipline to do it correctly. Its not like his cheek bones are protruding and has never looked horribly drained. To rely on a different scale like he did to be exactly on weight? You always have to figure .2 or even .3 difference just to be safe. Hell, I learned years ago in High school wrestling.

Regardless, he trusts Floyd Jr. to bring him along at the right pace, and fight Loma when he is ready. If Floyd thought he could beat Loma now, they would be fighting.

I heard he did the same to Teofimo Lopez too!

Why is everyone talking about Tank vs Loma. Is that even a big fight right now. Does it bring in the kinda money that makes it worth it for both networks to compromise? I think today's fighters and managers have decided that fighters shouldn't fight whomever whenever just to settle hardcore fan deek measuring contests.

Fighters travel with their own scale.

Don't be so sensitive dude. I'm a big Loma fan, I just didn't think he looked great against Pedraza. Nothing wrong with saying that. It's called being objective. Not everything Loma does has to be amazing. The guy had a mediocre night, that's ok. And again, just because I said Tank looked great vs Pedraza, doesn't necessarily mean, I'm this giant Tank fan. It's alright to have a gray area. Not everything has to be black and white. Nowhere did I say that Tank is better than Loma. I simply gave the dude a couple compliments. My god.

You're not going to lose your Loma fan card if you say something critical about him, it will be fine. You can still be a fan and be objective.

Haney is awful young yet, but I think the kid is the real deal. It seems like they are bringing him along at the right pace so far. Another year or two he will be ready for anyone.

What are the odds in this fight?
It's massive again as usual isn't it?

well there is a big difference between not looking great and struggling(i thought it was alright to have gray area?) but you missed the whole entire point. if you watch both fights you would see pedraza was super aggressive and came right into tanks strike zone time and time again. some comments from the commentators: paulie said "this is the wrong gameplan" bernstein said "this is an absurd strategy" it was universally panned as a ****** gameplan that pedraza fought.

if you watch the loma fight he was more cagey, patient and defensive-minded and he still lost 10 rounds, dropped twice, and was completely picked apart/barely landed anything cleanly. not sure how thats a struggle. it was a difference of kind but not degree because both guys won easily.

Will his best be at 140 or 147? I know it won't be @ 135! He still hasn't filled out to his grown man size, and his body is not hard enough yet! I would like to see how both Tank and Devin would handle someone like Edner Cherry or Richard Commey! I will also be keeping my eye on the Easter Jr. vs. Barthelemy fight! That's for the WBA "regular" title. Lol! We about to find out about Tank and Devin real soon!
