how do you know that would happen? they've never fought. What we do know is machado has the size advantage and also has the better trainer in his corner. but of course a gayweather jr groupie like you automatically believes davis would win.

This I agree with 100%, and you've said one of the most accurate and honest criticisms.

As a Canelo fan, I'm disappointed that Alvarez considers himself a "Champion" just because an organization states that it's a "Champion" status. This is why I get some heated posters arguing with me when I say Jacobs was never a "Champion." I'm just stating facts. By the pragmatic way, if the WBA has a Super Belt, then that's their Champion belt, so Canelo saying he's a Champion at 168 when he knows Smith has the real belt is disgusting.

Moving on, the same thing could be applied to Pacquiao. Pacquiao has at the very least said he wants to fight the best, therefore, he's guilty to have NEVER acknowledged in press to say, "I WANT THURMAN" repeatedly when Pac saw his position on the WBA Regular. I hate when boxers don't acknowledge the REAL champion in their own organization. It doesn't make any sense, and Pac would know that his statements have nothing to do with politics from his mgmt or opposing organizations. If he won a Regular belt at 147, a division HE KNOWS, then call out the SUPER CHAMPION Keith Thurman. Thurman for years called out Pacquiao.

Lastly, Golovkin too, since his strap with Tapia to 2014. His interviews saying "I'm Champion, I fight whoever.." or "I'm Champion, I know my job, doesn't matter for me."

Another boxer acknowledging the use of "Champion." If GGG knew that Regular belts were a problem, then he'd constantly call out Geale in every interview from 2011-2014 to say, "I want Geale. You know...he Super Champion. I want fight. For me, doesn't matter whoever.." etc...

It is what it is. You can't fault a boxer for exercising these sub trinkets, but at the very least we can grind them about calling themselves "Champions" when holding Regular belts.

This is what I always respected about Thurman, in countless times he always acknowledged the word and use of the WBA Regular and that he was always waiting for rotation for Floyd's Super. Haymon and Floyd went the Pac route onward. And why would the WBA interfere with Mayweather to Berto in helping out Thurman with a headline?

      It is what it is.

Who cares if a fighter considers themselves a champ for getting a "regular" or "world" title?

Whats the difference from someone like Canelo moving up to get an easy "regular" belt off Fielding or someone being gifted a vacant "Super" belt like tank davis or ggg with his vacant gifted belts? Absolutely nuthin but semantics is the only correct answer.

Regardless if fighters like "maybe next yr- sometime" Thurman point out that their not the "Full"champ,it means nothing. Fighters like him & every other fighter in boxing proudly display their regular/jr belts at every opportunity, they reap the benefits of said belt at every opportunity,& they refer to themselves as 1/2/3/4 etc. time world champs despite many of those titles being no more legitimate than the WBA "regular"belt rocky fielding held.

Like I said, the boxers aren’t at fault, it’s the organizations that provide these trinkets that THEMSELVES technically don’t acknowledge Real Status. The fact that “Regular” exists is an oxymoron to “Champion.” Wouldn’t you agree?

Even though Floyd fought for the IBO once upon a time, I don’t recall times where he fought for secondary style belts.

Listen to what you just said on your previous post... You said PBC and ESPN need their own belts...
What about Golden Boy promotions? Fighter's under Eddie Hearn? Frank Warren?
Fighter's who are signed to all the small time promoters like Zanfer promotions in Mexico, Teiken promotions in Japan, Thompson Boxing, Warriors Boxing, and countless others?? How you gonna shut them out??
How you gonna shut out Canelo and Anthony Joshua? They are the two biggest Stars in boxing!
I'd be more than happy if boxing was ran like the UFC! Where the best would fight the best and there would be no promoters or TV networks getting in the way of making fights but I just don't see that happening.
If PBC and ESPN created their own belts then the WBC, WBA, IBF, and WBO would still be around cause every other promoter not aligned with PBC or ESPN would fight for those titles...
So Yes there would be way more titles than there already is...

I agree that sanctioning orgs are a joke & there should not exist jr belts, but to me it matters little if a fighter is gifted a full title or "jr" title,I consider the legitimate champ at any given division the "champ" with the best resume.

One of the main reasons why I don't use the alphabet belt rankings in any discussion is because those rankings are influenced by money. Sad reality. WBC with their interim and silver champions and the WBA with their super and regular champions highlight how much of a money grab the belts are. I won't even get into the mando's.
Yeah I remember when Canelo dropped the belt .
But it wasn't for the reason I explained and that's what I really wanna see! It's bad enough there's 4 boxing organizations handing out belts in every division but for the same organization to have multiple champions per division is bullshet!
Your right that rankings are based on money sometimes so that takes away credibility from the rankings.
Real boxing fans should know who the real champs are and that's what matters!

That’s an interesting way to see it. I guess I favor more traditional lineage of the “Super” belt.

All young fighters are "protected" in some form and most champs hold off fighting their nemesis until they can maximize their purse. Tbh, that's how you can tell how a top guy feels about another top guy, if the fighter isn't willing to give up money to make the fight asap and seems cool with marination, he probably feels the probability of losing is too high.
I definitely agree with you 💯!
I understand marinating a fight is part of the business but to a certain degree. And yes all young fighters are protected and all promoters do marinate fights.
If someone says a certain promoter does it and others don't then he's just a promoter groupie. That simple

The Ali act would make any takeover in boxing impossible, but don't forget the UFC is more corrupt than boxing, its kinda like wwf mixed with mma in regard to how someone even gets in to UFC to begin with.

The UFC is all about creating great white hypejobs like Rousey/Mcgimper & matching them vs smaller/shttier cherrypicked opponents. Its no coincidence they both got stomped by journeyman mma equivalents. The UFC & Dana whyte are lying frauds, they screw over everyone except the great white hypejobs they protect. They were even trying to create a great white hope out of a complete BUM ***** named Sage Northcutt that got obliterated constantly by bums,so that failed. They are run like a racist slave org because of Dana whyte that fat bich. They pay the white hypejob bums tons of money while majority of blacks/latinos get sht(despite ufc pocketing bullions off them),they held mcgimper his paper gifted titles for 2 yrs without defending them, they have multiple times allowed different proven multiple time roided hypejobs to compete while juiced to the gills & after saying theyd never headline again. They even had fight moved so 1 chump can compete recently because he had a huge fanbase.
