6... Yet allow WBA Regular unified with 2 belts in different division...
the WBA Regular is important. Industry included WBA Regular defenses towards an eventual WBA Super status in a guy thought to beat Bernard Hopkins record. Yes, that actually happened.

On the good side. When the WBA saw that the Regular 160 Champion and the 160 Super Champion had no interested in fighting each other from 2014 to 2017, the WBA FORCED these two to fight after the WBA did not Sanction a 160 belt defense when a guy by the name of Brook moved up to 160.

This article serves no purpose. Yesterday it was "reported" that Canelo vacated. Rumors. Then today it is clarified by Boxingscene that this didn't happen.

Why would GBP be insecure about the WBA Regular position if Canelo has it less than 40 days?

This article is clarifying circumstance in that Floyd Mayweather was allowed to hold the WBA strap for not 40 days, but 730 days (= 2 years).

What is this non-disclosed mandate that would have leaked the rumor that GBP or Canelo didn't agree to in that he decided to "vacate?"

It's unfortunate, nobody is asking that question. Is there a rule that having a belt for 40 days allows a new order?

Comprehension is important. for instance, did any of the posters in this thread question, "well shouldn't we have said our opinions when Canelo HELD the Regular 168 while simultaneously holding the 160 belts?" Why is it important now? What is the violation?

            Good job WBA!

There are some Super Fights for CANELO at 168 pounds.

I would like to see CANELO fight & beat Callum Smith & Caleb Plant at 168 pounds.

It was impressive the way CANELO looked at Super Middleweight. The CANELO that showed up against Rocky Fielding beats both Smith & Plant IMO.

somehow it's news that Canelo was holding belts in two divisions. I must have missed the countless debates where people asked how this is possible, since December 15th 2018.
