What Hearn initially said was, he was not going to go further until he knew the money was real.

He then found out the money was real. but his reason for backing out was not a lack of a contract (you idiot) but because the 50 mil guarantee would give complete control of the show (venue, tv rights, etc) to Team Wilder.

Basically Hearn wanted someone else to put up 50 million dollars for his fighter, but to still allow Hearn to run the promotion, which is of course ******. Much like yourself.
    No.

Hearn was never sent a contract. How is "complete control" meant to be given to any party without a contract which demonstrates that?

Hearn didn't back out of anything, because there was nothing to back out of. There was a notion of $50m, but no contract to back it up.

How are some absolute lunatics on here calling people ‘casuals’ and then claiming that Wilder has a better resume.

WHO THE **** HAS ORTIZ EVER BEATEN!!!

So Wilder has a close win over an old and overated Ortiz, and a draw (that he lost) against a returning Tyson Fury. If you think that is better than a guy with half the fights who has beaten Parker, Whyte, Breazeale, Povetkin, Klitschko and Takam then you shouldn’t be commenting on a boxing forum. Educate yourself.

An offer without "details" or contractual terms is not an offer. By definition an offer is something which will bind the acceptor to the terms of the offer. You can't accept an offer which has no terms attached to it.

Hearn said "we are interested lets have a meeting"

the meeting was turned down... make of that what you will.

I was on the fence as to who was really talking BS at the time because I've never trusted Hearn; but the more time goes by the clearer it is that Joshua is willing to take the fight and Wilder isn't

Where was the contract? Wilder fans always go on about "the money was real", but never address the fact that a contract and a meeting was requested but neither were provided.

It's not in dispute that the money was real (although in actual fact a lot of it was apparently stumped up by BT Sport, which would have meant that Joshua would have been in breach of Contract with Sky if he had accepted the offer)
But Joshua’s contract with Sky Expired after the Parker fight ?
Joshua’s Matchroom contract also expired so he was a free agent.

Joshua only renewed his contract with Matchroom and Sky in Late July. The $50M offer came in MAY....

It's funny how they was okay and not a waste of time to have a meeting with Frank to show him the contract and get a bit of friendly 'advice' but a complete waste of time to have a meeting with Hearn who they're trying to make the fight with and refused to send a contract in an age with PDF's and e-signatures it wouldn't have been difficult.

AJ did say "I'll sign tomorrow, for 50 mil" and the fecking ejits got he 50 mil and 'forgot' to send him something to sign.

But his fanboys cannot admit the same in reverse.

At least i'm honest about my position.
Did he sleep with ya momma for you to hate a man you never met or seen before besides on tv to have that kind of resentment towards someone

Ask Wilder the same question? He could fight for all the belts and for more money. In fact he has to make a wrong right, he lost the first fight. We can’t wait for him to get his house in order. You should understand that you baby lotion minion

Americans don't report the full guarantee. They report in most cases a much smaller number. Like look at Pacquiao's and Broners and Crawford, Loma, Canelo's etc most recent fight. One of the main reasons is the sanctioning bodies take 3%. With Joshua having 4 belts you can expect whatever is on the commission report to be a lot lower than what he is actually making.

The main thing that is sticking out is that AJ is making more than double what Wilder and Fury make combined when they fought each other

Hearn did back out of it after seeing that the money was legit and blamed it on aj trainer saying didn’t want to give up home field advantage, wanted to do it for the U.K. fans and couple other bs reasons
