Leave it be Ortiz, AJ admitted he did all that talk because his master Edwards Hearns ordered him to do it to save face cuz public perception for AJ is dwindling!

Ortiz needs to get his managers to work their magic and get him in the top rankings for a shot at one of AJ’s belts!

I looked at the rankings and it’s weird that a considerable top 5 or top 10 heavyweight isn’t even in the top 10 rankings for none of AJ’s belts except for the WBA and he’s barely there at #11!

I also would like Ortiz to put pressure on his promoter to find a way to get the money so his team can start making offers cuz these dudes talk but truly don’t want the smoke!

Whyte , Joshua and Usyk have all called out Ortiz but then didn’t offer him a deal or gave him a low ball offer!

It sucks but Ortiz is still a high risk and low reward fighter, even more so due to him not being undefeated any longer!

Is it weird though? Without even digging at Ortiz what fights has he had in those ranking systems to work his way into the top ten? They have their rules so they can't just put him up there for 'potential' if other guys a fighting higher ranked fighters than what Ortiz is.

I imagine because Big Baby's a bigger match (money and legacy-wise), and it's also an in-house fight.

But yeah, Ortiz would be a fun fight if the Big Baby fight falls through.

What guys has Ortiz fought to get in the top rankings in all the systems, especially since his loss, is my point?

I'm not attacking his skillset or saying whether those fighters would beat him just that they have probably followed the rules more to acheive their rankings. If you're not fighting guys in the top 50 you can't expect to be ranked top ten across the board.
