If this went to purse bids, all hell would break loose.

GBP won't be bidding for it, but Eddie Hearn will, with DAZN money.

lol postponed is a good thing, means theyre trying to finalize a deal.. if they cant agree then it would go to purse bid not like fury would just cancel

In fact, even if there is a bid where Wilder's promoter wins and Fury decides to disagree, he can just leave without any consequences as long as he doesn't sign the contract after this purse bid.

This is so funny how this farce is legit only in fighting sport.
well, the wbc changed from sanctioning the fight to ordering it, but your point still holds.
lol how in the world do you order a purse bid for a non-contender? and then after that, you go ahead and postpone the purse bid date which you demanded on the eve of the purse bid?? the WBC has no credibility whatsoever.

            Quackety quack

I also had doubts about the immediate rematch. Team Wilder would rather not risk the O against Fury because an unbeaten undisputed fight is the holy grail.

Wilder vs Breazeale next. Whyte vs Fury anyone? I would rather see Fury vs Ortiz because Whyte will just get his face jabbed off vs Fury.

Who would've thought that "the nicest people you can meet" are having such difficulties making "the easiest deal to make"?

Wilder has already said he would rematch Fury before fighting Joshua and vice versa lol. There is no pressure it’s already been established that Wilder is facing Fury next and Joshua is fighting Miller
