This thread is underratedly ******, how is this even a question?

I don’t like Kovalev but he clearly has the superior resume!

Hopkins alone is a better win than anything Ggg has unless ggg somehow comes back and clears out 160 which at his age and with Canelo providing the blueprint on how to beat him I doubt he does it!

Hopkins > Jacobs, Lemeiux and Brook

And if Kov somehow clears 175 then any sentence mentions ggg and Kov on the same level needs to be retracted immediately and stop watching boxing affirmatively!

Irrelevant. We are talking about resume. Beating a weak titleholder dosen't make your resume better.

Did you just say beating a 50 year old hopkins is a better win than beating a prime jacobs? Holy ****.

Only top guys GGG ever faced were Jacobs and Canelo, and he lost to both in my eyes. His resume isn't even comparable to Kovalev's.
Kovalev's best win is against alvarez. Alvarez is so limited overral. Jacobs is a complete fighter. Jacobs is better p4p than any fighter kovalev has beaten by a mile. And ggg dominated him.

You must be confused. Jacobs wasn't a title holder. You're referring to Lemieux?

Kov's best win is against pascal, old man hopkins, and alvarez. Jacobs > all of them. Jacobs having a title at the time is irrelevant to the discussion. You are very slow in the head.

You keep mentioning Jacobs having a title? Golovkin was the WBA Champion. What title are you referring to? The WBA Regular? That's not a World Title. Just like Canelo is not the WBA 168 Champion, Smith is. Kovalev has beaten a 1st ballot HOF and BHOP was an ATG too.

Just so we're in the same page. Jacobs is the inferior boxer to Hopkins.

GGG - robbed twice versus Canelo

Kovalev - robbed once versus Ward and ref allowed a dirty fight in rematch

                    GGG - never KO'd

                    Kovalev - stopped twice

Each of them has fought the same caliber opposition IMO, and each of them has been ducked by rivals in their respective divisions. I'd still put GGG over Kovalev because he should be 40-0 right now.
