Best resume - GGG or Kovalev

GGG - one elite draw, 2 top level wins, 1 title capture in the ring

Kova - several top wins, 4 titles won in ring

who u gonna pick, the Mad magazine cover boy look-a-like or the missing third member of Carter USM?

Kova has a pretty clear win over Ward and GGG a clear win over Canelo.

    Kovalev in my book.

Imagine if Kovalev just threw a jab at Ward with sequential missing throughout the fight, wouldn’t that look awkward?

Imagine if Ward fought like Canelo in the GGG rematch, Ward walking to Kovalev with the high guard.

Imagine if people knew how to score fights round by round instead of looking at if one guy had a red mark on his face or another guy fought a style you didnt think he would fight.

Would love to see these two fight. Remember the sparring rumors about GGG dropping Kovalev in Sparring.

why do people bring up titles like they mean anything? has broner taught us nothing?

they do mean something, just not that much.

Its clear theres a difference between KOv winning 3in the ring and GGG being given 2 outside the ring...its conceivable that had GGG not been lined up with a titlist as poor as Lemiux, he might never have won a title at all.

it is also true that GGG was rumoured to be KOing CWs and HWs in training. although he could not repeat the feat with former WW/LMW Canelo for some strange reason. Perhap GGG was ill during the 80 minutes when coincidentally he fought his best opponent.

GGG robbed against Canelo, Kovalev robbed against Ward.

Beating Ward is more impressive than beating Canelo.

GGG's length of reign etc are decent accomplishments, but I think Kovalev beat the better fighters.

I agree. 97G's entire legacy revolved around title defenses and we all saw what a fraud he was
