And Canelo clearly beat GGG in their first fight? Are you for real?
How do judges give Leonard the first round vs Hagler while he is prancing in loops around the ring? Wouldn’t you think that’s ineffective when the Champ is chasing him? Or do boxing fans acknowledge that it’s the nature to circle the ring since it’s haydays? When Canelo does it it’s unacceptable? Why do people cry for the Draw? It was a close fight. Moretti’s 7-5 proves this. Boxing fans assume that if Byrd had it 115-113 for Caneo that it would make a difference on the cards. It doesn’t change the outcome vs the other two judges. In fact, SRL vs Hagler had a 118-110 card. Hagler feels he was robbed.

Gonna have to go with GGG due to beating jacobs. Jacobs > pascal, alvarez, and old man hopkins.

Jacobs was never a World Champion when he fought GGG.

          Is this a serious thread?

Only top guys GGG ever faced were Jacobs and Canelo, and he lost to both in my eyes. His resume isn't even comparable to Kovalev's.

Losses count against you. Knockout losses count against you even more. I thought GGG beat Canelo both fights and he has never even been knocked down. I don't count Kovalev's losses to Ward because I thought he won the first fight and the ref ***ed him in the 2nd fight by not warning Ward for low blows. The ref gave Ward a KO win when Kov was bent over in pain from a series of very low blows when he should have been giving Kov the 5 minutes to recoup from the low blows. But there is no doubt Kov got KOed by Alvarez and GGG has never even been knocked down. GGG has lots more than two good wins. He KOed many who were top 10 contenders when fought them and the GGG haters turned them into bums after he easily KOed them but nobody else has ever KOed some of them. Lemieux and Murray and even Monroe were good wins and nobody else has KOed then since GGG did. GGG had 20 successful title defenses in a row and 22 KOs in a row. I think he has a much better resume than Kovalev. Kovalev is fresh off his impressive win so he is hot right now and GGG has never been popular on this forum so I am not surprised that Kovalev got more votes. GGG has the better record. He has only 1 questionable loss while Kovalev has 2 questionable losses and 1 undeniable KO loss.

Aside from GGG and Kova fans finding excuses for their losses why don't we stick to a subject that both of these fanbases strategically don't reflect on: GGG vs Kovalev

We get it they're friends just like Jacobs and Andrade. All while Abel Sanchez said he could match up Golovkin vs Kovalev at 175. We know that Kovalev would have to concede to a catchweight for Gennady. Perhaps 171 at best. Keep in mind, Gennady walks around 190lbs+

Its clear theres a difference between KOv winning 3in the ring and GGG being given 2 outside the ring...its conceivable that had GGG not been lined up with a titlist as poor as Lemiux, he might never have won a title at all.
It's clear you are full of it. You voted for Kov and deliberately worded your poll to make Kovalev sound so much better. It's not the least bit conceivable that GGG would have failed to beat any middleweight titlest. He was there ready to fight for the title and the other guys willingly gave up their title rather than fight him, What titlist of that time frame would have beat him? Martinez? Murray fought both GGG and Martinez and got robbed by Martinez and KOed by GGG. Sturm avoided GGG. Cotto would never fight him. Until GGG fought Canelo Saunders refused to fight GGG but only fought guys GGG had already KOed. What's so poor about Lemieux? He was rated the 5th best middleweight in the world and now has a high ranking at 168. The plain fact is until GGG lost to Canelo everybody recognized GGG and only GGG as the true middleweight champion.
