I haven't. If you haven't either had a replacement on standby (Hearn with Takam for Pulev) or fighter on the card at the same weight or close (Korobov for Monroe) its extremely tough to get a viable replacement fighter on two weeks notice. What makes this situation especially tough is that the card is located in the injured fighters hometown to attract his fans.

I think part of the frustration, for me anyway, is that Tank really launched himself into the spotlight with that vicious beating of Pedraza and then he went into the Copperbox UK to face an undefeated Liam Walsh and took him apart mercilessly.
I think Tank, when proper fit, is a beast and I enjoy his ferocity in the ring. The problem is that his next fight he came in way overweight and labored to a stoppage of Fonseca, fought a small Cuellar and is now fighting another limited small man. I get that sometimes circumstances make for less than ideal matchups; I just want to see him in some more compelling fights sooner rather than later. I'd like to see the Farmer fight next.Comment

Is it a cherry pick if you get called out? Im pretty sure cherry picking is when you go after a guy you know you can beat. You guys get overly sensitive about the business side of boxing when it's a fighter you already have a negative view of. As fans we aren't going to like every decision that every fighter makes, but its doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand why a fighter who is trying to build himself into a big ticket fighter would fight in such a match up. Newsflash, fighting the toughest fights each time out doesn't guarantee big checks. So when these young guys choose to build their fan base and build financially, we as fans should understand it, even if we don't agree with it.Comment

He didn't go after him. To say it doesn't matter if you get called out is to try and change what it means to "go after" someone. Did Machado call him out or were they just arguing over who was super champion, which wasn't stolen? Cherry pick? No. Disappointing move. Sure. I can see the belt situation is really what bothers you. Why not get on Twitter and ask Oscar to send Davis a contract for this summer. DAZN has plenty of money to pay to get Davis off PBC on a one fight basis. Or maybe he will let Machado fight on Showtime.Comment

Who do you think you're fooling with this BULLS--- fight? Ruiz is clearly smaller than you. I'm changing my prediction, Early rd KO for sure and I'm not watching this garbage either.
Done giving Tank the benefit of the doubt.I'm adding this ******* to my list of known duckers. And yes, the list is VERY long.Comment

Walsh was an undefeated fighter fighting in his own backyard. Davis went there with his newly won belt on the line. Walsh may not have been in Tank's class but I think there is something to be said for going overseas and fighting in a hostile environment with the fear of home cooked reffing or judging.Comment
