Your the only bum that stated that Cotto is not a p4p fighter, your an IDIOT.

Swear everytime i tuned in to watch him i saw him getting whooped. The top guys barely broke a sweat beating him easy nights work for pacquiao canelo margarito mayweather. Hell even austin trout nearly shut him out on one card and then when people said he was having a late career resurgence saddam ali whooped him too he wasnt even that old lol

PAC didn’t want any piece of 154-155 Cotto. Those catchweights were there.
You do realize that Pac himself said he wont fight anymore above 147 after his fight with Margarito??

He peed blood after that fight and took out alot of his prime years.

A 5'5 dude should never fight above 147 again. Even if you win, you will take some serious punishments

The night of the fight Pac was 148 and margarito was 165

Pac himself looked like he died vs JMM.

All those are worse than Cotto who did get quite the ass whoopin..but at least he remembers it.
i think pac's beating was worst. marg only came on in the second half and then the fight was stopped in the 11th for the cotto fight.

although the loss to marg at the time in cotto's career prolly hurt cotto more so than his loss to pac.

I don’t think cotto was P4P. Who did he beat? He lost all his big fights with the exception of SSM which could have gone either way. He was good but not P4P come on now

In the first round, I can remember Miguel Cotto stumbling when he was not even being hit. The catch-weight may have just taken abit of edge off him that night, but it was still a immense performance from Pacquaio 'I picked Miguel Cotto to win at the time'...

I mean, Cotto lost his prime in that Marg fight and his recuperative ability was never the same again. Cotto quit vs Marg and thats the biggest indication of a bad beating. He retreated and took a knee. He was beaten to submission. Cotto went on to get badly cut in the Clottey fight after and have a real tough fight iirc. There are a few fights you can look at that you can say the fighter was never the same after and the marg-cotto was one. It was reeeally bad. Heartbreaking even.

There’s also the real likelyhood Marg used plaster... Cotto Got his licks in but nothing to what he received. Same for Pacquiao for that matter who had his f ucking head bandaged after Cotto and almost lost an ear or some s hit.

Hell, the beating Mosley gave Marg was pretty savage which should also be an honorable mention. Margarito once zombie mode was broken and left in a heap. That was violent.
