Ok, so why the lawsuit now? Does that make it more credible? She's a liar and wants his money. Found someone to lie for her now and thinks she'll get rich from it. At least make bs claims when something is proven. You're acting just like the b@tch who's making the accusation. But I cant say I'm surprised. You're worthless to this website and almost everyone here knows it.Comment

119 - 109 Kovalev. Good performance by Kov. Kept his discipline for the 2nd half of the fight and just outworked Alvarez throughout.
Got to say Alvarez is a tough dude, keeps on coming but just not doing enough to win rounds. McGirt has done a good job, tightened things up and got Kov looking sharp and focused. Stevenson might be out the game, but Kovalev is back in it.Comment

Re
Interesting how the dynamics of this fight changed. Originally, the plan was to have the rematch somewhere in the NY-NJ region, where Main Events has often been the beneficiary of some...favorable judging...
If that were to remain the case Alvarez was gonna need another KO to keep that belt...the first fight was clearly even going into the KO, but Alvarez was curiously down a couple rounds on the scorecards.
Then the rematch was sent to Texas, on a Top Rank promoted card for ESPN. We're out of Main Event's power base. The shady Main Events could bring the suspect judging on the road though. So though it was a little less urgent to get a KO, one was probably still needed.
Alvarez gets signed by Top Rank, the host of the event. Now Alvarez no longer needs a KO, KOVALEV does. At the very least, a dominant performance.
It's the reverse. Top Rank is the "A side" promoter, while Main Events is the B side.
All Alvarez had to do was win a boxing contest convincingly, and he'll be...judged...the winner.
Apparently that didn't happen. Kovalev won the rounds convincingly enough to get the judging. I'd have to see the fight myself to be sure, and check the hometowns of the judges...
However, from reading the article, it looks like Alvarez was just going for the KO again, not realizing that all he had to do was out hustle Kovalev and stay on his feet.
The only questionable one was Lisa Giampa...the other two judges are from Mexico and Texas.Last edited by SHO_RULEZ; 02-03-2019, 05:07 AM.Comment
