Kovalev held his own boxing wise for 12 rounds with Andre Ward. That should tell you something.

Funny thing is, Alvarez seems to impact Kovalev every time he touches him.

No doubt. Every time he lands clean, Kovalev stumbles or is rocked. But he lands on or two shots and shells up outside of jabs for the rest of the round.
