Should of pulled him out at 8 or 9 .. last 3 or 4 rds have shortened his career and he should look at his trainers and style , if he cannot change it he will be walking on his uppers very quickly , very serious and important decisions to make even at 23 because the trainer did not know how to change it and whoever judged he were ready for Garcia needs replacing straightaway , if he were in against a puncher he could have been seriously hurt , his only strengths are his toughness and his bravery , both assets are detrimental
To your health at or above this level.Last edited by Buggy bear; 02-02-2019, 06:24 PM.

That scorecard makes me sick. Garcia won 10 rounds. Jesus christ. Luckily was able to see Garcia's last fight on YouTube and the guy he beat was similar to Cheeseman so I threw 50 on him. He is a solid boxer. Reminds me of Oktay Urkal.

You may be right, but Cheeseman had won the English title, WBA International and the British title.
Maybe he could have done with a couple of defences or fringe European fights but I don't think it would have changed much.
Ritson had 3 British title defences before stepping up and still got outclassed when he stepped up.

too much of a step up.
Can't remember which Sky pundit said it, but they had it spot on. If you look at Cheeseman's record, he hasn't even fought a solid British level fighter. He's fought a 40 year old Carson Jones and a load of journeymen.
At least when Ritson stepped up and lost, he had cleaned out domestic level and it was the next logical step.
