Agreed, violence against anyone is plain wrong whatever the circumstance but women can be cunning for sure ..

It's not a problem for boxing. The special interests groups behind these movements only care about going after relevant athletes. They can't get attention or rake in donations going after fighters no one cares about. Now if someone like Canelo or Wilder beats a woman, that would cause a major stirComment

Keith Idec, so wait Sergey has a case where he is accused of shattering a woman’s nose over a failed pass but to sell concern for the issue on this racist site you have to use Broners image?
Didn’t see this when it was Mayweather you never included Edwin Valero’s picture? Edwin beat his wife continuously and the. murdered her in cold blood. We know what you do brother. Serial coincidence is evidence of strategic design. Either you are racist or you play up to them. Garbage biased reporter.Comment

Yep! A pic of Broner up is BS. This Keith Idec sounds like a virtue signaling leftist. And the truth is, most leftist are the biggest closet racists around.Comment

There is 3 sides to a story, there's, your's and the truth. If these grown ass men actually throw punches at women with intent like Kovalev or Mayweather its not going to end well. We've seen sickening results from MMA fighters like War Machine/Christy Mack, Arnold Berdon/Rachel Ostovich. The first time Mayweather's girl made a claim against him, she admitted she lied. Mayweather admits to restraining her but never punching or kicking her. If you were never part of the situation, you will never know what actually went down. But we live in an era where we pass judgement first and refuse to change our opinion even when evidence is presented.Comment

It's a difficult one to say I disagree with what someone did and think they should be punished for it but that I'm happy to pay money for their fights that goes into their pocket. But that's just how boxing in, I don't want to get in there and risk my life so I respect it might take just a little uncontrollable craziness to do it.
These kinds of subjects just seem to lead to a bunch of arguing because each case is different, sometimes it's just an accusation that never goes to court, sometimes someone is found guilty but fans disagree, sometimes found not guilty but fans disagree. Some guys beat a woman and then pay her off not to press charges. People say 'innocent until proven guilty', but even if proven guilty what is the sport supposed to do? Floyd was found guilty and went to prison, so do we ban him from boxing? If so it seems flawed to say you've served your time but we're still gonna punish you. But if we don't ban him then do we not ban anyone found guilty, even if they just get a small fine?
It seems easier to me to just sit back and watch fights and if a guy is a scumbag I can root against him but I don't need the sport to be the police, boxing is corrupt and full of bad decisions, I wouldn't trust any commission to fairly judge who should and shouldn't be punished, leave it to the fans to boycott if they feel that strongly.Comment

hmm i get the article but it just feels rushed. cant we at least wait and see what the details and facts/evidence are before we use him as the face of boxing and its woman abuse problems? idk maybe im the minority here and obviously men who hit woman are as low as it gets but everyone deserves to be considered innocent until proven guilty especially this day and ageComment
