Floyd has said a few times "everybody has limits..i know mine...160 is too high I wont fight there"

so how come Floyd was called all kinds of names and called "scared" when he didn't want to take on a career 160 guy even if the fight would have been at 154?

I know Floyd is in his own stratosphere...but how come the golovkin guy wouldn't do 154 for arguably the 2nd biggest name in the sport in canelo? or even cotto who is very well known and one of the bigger names at the time?

so Floyd says no way to fighting 160 guys....but golovkin says hell fight him at 154....but wont fight canelo or cotto there...strange

yet somehow when a featherfisted 168 guy challenged golovkin every excuse was made for golovkin to avoid that fight...despite the fact that golovkin talked about 168 incessantly and even put his name to paper to fight a guy there? "cant duck a guy not in your division".....but Floyd was constantly called "Scared" and a "cherrypicking poosy"..

so weird....my best guess in fanboyism...anyone else have any other theories at this absurd display of double standard?
Floyd was the current champion at 154
and GGG, a natural middleweight offered to squeeze down to 154 to fight Mayweather for Mayweather's two world titles at 154. Mayweather punked out. He declined. He said no thanks. There is nothing hard to understand about it, GGG hater.

Greater fighters (universal opinion of deeply researched historians) than both have "quit"/retired during fights.

It’s the way they quit that matters.

You are lying about GGG refusing to fight Ward. All Ward did was make a meaningless media call out to GGG to fight him at 168 when GGG could not possibly fight him because he already had a legally binding contracted title defense against Lemieux coming up shortly and Ward knew that. After GGG KOed Lemieux Ward had moved to 175 and said he would never return to 168. There NEVER was a legit offer from Ward's team to GGG to fight Ward at 168. A legit offer includes the weight the fight is to be at. The amount GGG will be paid and the location the fight will take place at. Oakland? No such offer was ever made to GGG. GGG never made excuses. He did not need to make excuses about avoiding a fight that was never on the table in the first place. Quit lying.

Duran also showed incredible courage on multiple occasions and after this fight. I guarantee Floyd, for example wouldn't dare step up to Hagler right in his prime. I doubt Floyd steps into the ring with a 154 Hearns or fights a huge middleweight like Barkley as he's pushing 40.

Duran had a moment of madness but he made up for it and then some.

You are fast becoming the biggest GGG hater of all the many GGG haters on here. You cannot let a single day go by without starting at least one thread trashing GGG and often multiple threads attacking him. Your hatred of this nice guy and excellent fighter is over the top excessive and weird. You are going to keep trashing him and I will keep on defending him and calling you on your lies and BS as I do for any boxer who I think is being trashed wrongly and unfairly.

Give Duran credit for every fight he took and every thing he did, Duran was notorious for being slovenly and not training and abusing his body. His going up wasn't bravery, it was lack of discipline, same as Broner.

Floyd kept himself in tremendous shape. Notorious for being in the gym training. His not going to 160 is because he didn't abuse his body and he was just too small. That wasn't the case for Duran.
