Hit me with facts rather than juvenile IQ and casual jibes

Fact is Kovalev outlanded Ward in both fights. Ward needed illegal tactics to survive the first fight, with a corrupt Robert Byrd allowing all that holding and hitting, Ward driving his head into Kovalev chest and trying to raise it up to butt him, but Kovalev holding his head down to prevent that coward cheat from butting him like against Bika and Kessler. Wards best offense is the butt.

2nd fight was low blows. Landing below the belt. Referee either was corrupt (another African American) or incompetence. Pauli mallinaggi said on record he never saw such a bull**** corrupt stoppage before.

It’s a joke. Call it what it was, an attempt by the boxing establishment to create another African American star which didn’t exist anymore above 154. Ward was the son of a white man who played the role very well aligning himself with Jay Z and Prince to more identify with the ****** culture.

Ward outlanded kovalev in the 3rd and 5th rounds and had a better connect percentage in 11 of the 12 rounds. Over to you.

Typical DKSAB Englishman. You give the rest of your countrymen a bad name. Your lot thinks that when a defensive boxer doesn't get completely destroyed in a round it is a clear win for him.

Connect percentage is almost always a useless statistic. If I land 10/100 on you, but you land 1/1 on me, who should win the round? Rhetorical question btw, I have no interest in hearing anything you have to say about boxing.

The guy who lands more, and the harder, punches wins a fight. That's how it works. Ward outlanded him by 1 punch according to CompuBox in 3 and 5 btw, and iirc those were the only 2 somewhat close rounds in the first 6. It was closer to being 6-0 than 4-2. 5-1 Kov was clearly the right score after 6.

To give both to Ward when he was getting his ass stomped in the first half of the fight is very charitable. To give Ward 7 rounds in the fight is not possible. To give Ward 4 of the first 6 rounds you have to be a literal ******. You are not worth my or anyone else's time when it comes to boxing.

Exactly! Years ago I was wondering what all the fuss was about when Ward won the super six, which in fact was the super 9 since three subs were included:

Johnson

His fights were marred with horrendous head buts and fouls that should have been a DQ but fighting every fight in Oakland made it possible to win those fights dirty.

His outright ducking and refusal to fight Lucien Bute, who was not invited by Hershman, who was Wards de facto manager, Ward admitted he wouldn’t fight Bute. Guy was constantly cherry picking guys he could beat like Dawson who he refused to fight at 175, made him drain to 168 and was a complete farce.

Then the Kovalev debacle where Ward was clearly defeated, but since Ward who is half African American and despite being the son of a white man, was given the dubious decision in order to get that Mayweather demographic, the non boxing fan who were just pro black supremacists looking to hang their hat on someone besides Mayweather.

This is an era where African American boxers are being exposed by the Eastern European and Asian demographic because their culture is much more conducive to combat sports. Inner city culture has devolved into this entitlement culture of doing the least amount of work and getting the most amount of credit. It’s a joke. The 3rd world mentality of the ******* establishment.

Also when you look at Ward's career, as you and I have, it is weird to see people hype him up so much. When you point out the facts as you did, you would think any objective intelligent person would begin to see that he is not at all what he is made out to be.

But I guess admitting that he is not that great is hard for that demographic since, as you mentioned, he was essentially the great black hope for any fighter above welterweight for that generation. They just have had no one to really attach their bandwagon to.
