Yup, here I am saying Joshua/Pulev is an awful fight. Which seems to be the sentiment of every boxing fan I’ve encountered. You guys do realise Wilders only good win was a couple weeks shy of turning 39?
And Rexy, this thread was exactly what I was talking about when you was on that thread about fanboys or whatever and you was like "no, not me" but here you are again just like I said you do, religiously bagging on Hearn. If it's what floats your boat carry on just don't deny it.
But I’m a hater. Has nothing to do with Hearn using mandatories in the past, both with the Povetkin fight and with the November deadline for wilder to accept before another mandatory gets called. (Where’s the mandatory?)
Here’s the important question. If you follow my posts which apparently you do, you’ll find me bashing King, Arum, Haymon, Duva, Oscar. Name a promoter, and I’ve bathed them. But you call me out whenever I talk **** about Hearn, I’d youre attracted to the guy, that’s fine. It’s 2019. If it's what floats your boat carry on just don't deny it.Last edited by _Rexy_; 01-31-2019, 05:03 AM.Comment

Couldn't agree moreYeah, I totally agree. Whyte has done what he was supposed to after a loss: Get back up and fight good competition. He is easily among the top HWs out there, with the big 2 at the top in any order you want, and Fury, Ortiz and him in any order you want next. No doubt his record is better than Ortiz.
This is a fine fight and it is interesting. Whyte is a legit fighter and Joshua could lose if not prepared. I like this a TON better than a fight with Miller who has stepped up less than anyone in the top 10.Comment

Yes, Whyte called out Ortiz. Then Ortiz signed to fight Kaufmann. Joyce called Ortiz, then Ortiz proceeded to sign to fight Hammer.Bull ****t! Ortiz was NOT signed to fight Kaufmann before Whyte called him out. He offered to jump off the Wilder card and travel to the UK. At that time nothing was signed between Whyte and Chisora.
Joyce called Ortiz out publicly BEFORE he signed to fight Hammer, or Stiverne and Joyce were signed.
You are a lying sack.
In both situations, Ortiz was the first one to sign a fight.
I don't entirely blame Ortiz for this, but it's clear he isn't anxious to make big fights. It's possible that Haymon wouldn't have allowed him to move off the Wilder undercard, as they wanted to help it sell. As for Joyce, he has only had 7 fights, so it makes sense for Ortiz to disregard him.
Either way, Ortiz seems to have no inclination to make a deal.Comment

You're saying it's because of age and the age of AJ's opponents is questionable having never suggested Ortiz was possibly past it being older than Povetkin (born 6 months after Ortiz) and Pulev.Yup, here I am saying Joshua/Pulev is an awful fight. I'm team UK I've got no shame about it and can critisize my 'side' when they deserve it. You're a PBC groupie in denial, I have never seen you critisize or change your view on Wilder even when facts are presented.
How many times do you need explaining that Hearns tactic of rushing Wilder into a more favourable deal failed using excuses of promotion and training camps not mando's like youre making out and then he back tracked, just like the 24hr deadline AJ got for the 50 mil. Tactics fail then they change stances to get deals done it's sales 101, end of.
You are not critising Haymon and Co and definitely no religiously like Hearn/Matchroom. You don't even know your'e doing it.Comment

That 39 year old is still too young for AJ/Eddie to ever mention his name. You guys do realise Wilders only good win was a couple weeks shy of turning 39?

Perhaps when hes' mid 40's like Klitchkoa they will show an interest.Comment

Where do you get that I’m a PBC groupie? Only thing I can think of is that I was vocal about looking forward to last weeks triple header (I’ve been high on Adam and King Tug for a while now) but I even went through my P4P as well as my list of favorite fighters from each division, and PBC is actually one of the ones I have the least guys. You're saying it's because of age and the age of AJ's opponents is questionable having never suggested Ortiz was possibly past it being older than Povetkin (born 6 months after Ortiz) and Pulev.

I don’t care about promoters, I cheer for fighters. Hell, I even have some Matchroom on my list! Would have made more sense for you to call me a top rank groupie, since I’m a Loma fan and I’ve been very vocal about sticking up for Crawford’s choice to not sign with PBC.
But it proves my point that you only follow me around in the Matchroom threads.Comment

What is Ortiz supposed to do if they all of a sudden go into hiding after he publicly accepts their challenge? He waits for a response and offer, and if none, signs for another fight. No, you shouldn't blame Ortiz at all. Chastise the chicken****s that use his name for publicity, fake news. At Ortiz's age he can't afford to sit around for a year waiting.Yes, Whyte called out Ortiz. Then Ortiz signed to fight Kaufmann. Joyce called Ortiz, then Ortiz proceeded to sign to fight Hammer.

41 is mid 40's now is it?
Maybe if Ortiz was proven and not just some fantasy scalp and he hadn't ducked AJ for Wilder then he would have been retired already.Comment
