you know from what i hear here that if its 15 round spinks would have lost but spinks would fight differently in a 15 round than a 12 round.

in the 15 round he would dominated til the 10 or 12th round and give Kam the rest easly and simple.

why are you complianing Spinks is one of kind boxer and its no shame that Kamazin lost in front of him.

I had it 7-5 for Karmazin. Not a robbery, but a poor decision. Karmazin was the champ and he swept the championship rounds to pull it out, I thought.

I wish there were 15 round fights as well anyone remeber mesi/barret, if that fight had gone 15 mesi would have a loss. There are many other fights where three more rounds could have tiped the tide. It always cracks me up when people say lets make boxing safer, I know lets just not throw punches and just see who wins the stair down.

spinks won the damn fight, even if he danced the last couple of rounds. karmazin let him jab and counter him too much in the early rounds.

Yeah and if Mesi/Jirov had gone 15, there's a good chance that Baby Joe would be six feet under right now. Boxing does NOT need 15 rounders. They went down to 12 for a reason.

Roman wasnt very impressive. For the majority of the fight he was stalking Spinks without throwning. For an expample of how great this plan works watch Mayweather vs Chico.

I had it 115-113 for Spinks as the absolute worst it could be for Spinks. Could've easily seen 116-112. Karmazin didn't do enough to draw, let alone win.

Well, I guess Spinks answered my question about his desire to continue boxing. I picked Karmazin by decision and Spinks proved me wrong.

That being said, Karmazin was there and ready to press the action and turn the tide in the last half of the fight. He never let up on Spinks, like a machine he just kept on coming. It was just too little too late. I didn't think very much of either fighter coming into the fight. They both proved to be good fighters. And both of their stocks will rise with this fight.

Where does Spinks go from here? Perhaps Ouma, perhaps Winky Wright. We'll wait and see.
