I havent seen it but I expect Spinks won this easier than it sounds on these boards. Spinks doesn't have the style that sticks out he jumps in and jumps out and it looks like he is running away. While Karmazin is a on your ass fighter that always looks agressive.

Dont flame me yet because I havent seen it, I may be very wrong. I will watch the video ASAP and tell you what I think.

I too think a draw would be best, but given Don King is promoting both these fighters, he can get alot more out of Spinks than he can Karmazin so it all makes sense.

If there is a rematch, Spinks will be stopped by Roman.

spinks looked good thru the first 6 or 7 rounds. he was very elusive and dodging damn near everything, while offensively was getting in with a few punches and was back out in a flash. if he wasnt back out he was holding. around the 7th round he started slowing down and thats when roman started landing more. the last 4 rounds he was running in survival mode, because roman had caught him with a few good shots. one right hand glazed his eyes and nearly put him down. but no, he definitely didnt win easier then what people are saying. it could have gone either way

I agree with the 2 judges 115-113 was the correct score. Even Karma didn't think he won the fight, he was blaming the ref.

I had it a draw. None of the official judges nor the press row scoring had it any wider than 115-113 for either fighter so there is absolutely no way anybody can call this fight a robbery, especially a little piece of **** like SturmRules.

By the way, SturmRules, did you see where Masoe (Sturm's last opponent) lost again, this time to my local boy Randy Griffin? LOL

Even Karmazin and his seconds knew they were behind on points. Spinks was dead tired by the halfway point in 9, but he clearly had a lead going into the championship rounds. 115-113 twice, and 114-114 are good scores and it reflects what happened tonight in St. Louis. Nothing contraversial about it.

                I thought Spinks won 115-113.

It was close. I bet Karmazin isn't opposed to a Ouma rematch now.

honestly if Sturm fights Randy Griffin before a top middleweight, then I will consider Sturm one of the biggest paper champs I have ever seen in my life

Just so you know Masoe is probably Griffin's best win and that is nothing to boast about
