i just finished the fight, and it was pretty close, th e12th round coul dhave been 10/10. cory ran and held most of the round but when he put out his jab he was landing, whereas roman who was throwin gmore punches and chasing cory, wasn't landing. so it was a close good fight. you can't really argue with the judges 114/114 115/113 115/113. i would have been ok with a draw, but there was no way tha cory lost this fight.

Grrrr! Not to sound like a stuck record, but can people stop referring to who is the champ as if this should matter. Boxing matches are scored by rounds on the 10 point must system right? You don't have to "take" the fight from the champ, you have to win more rounds (KD/8 point rounds excepted).

I haven't watched the fight yet but if Spinks won the first 7 rounds Karmazin needed to knock him down to have a chance.

This was a joke, how did the ref let Corey do a ricky hatton. Corey ran and got beat up all the championship rounds and he takes the belts. So if your a front runner like Corey and win 5 outta 8 rounds all you have to do is run the rest of the fight to WIN THE BELTS FROM THE CHAMP? Unreal

yeah, i alot wish i could've given Karmazin an extra round at the end just for those last two..

btw, for those wondering how to overall fight went, IMO it was Karmazin who lost his title himself by not being active enough in those early-mid rounds, he really let Spinks win in those rounds where he'd hardly throw, and like a wrote somewhere else, i don't see Spinks (if he fought like he did saturday) coming anywhere close to competing with the top guys at 154 (i.e. De La Hoya, Mosley, etc.).. he's got some work to do if he wants to remain champ

i honestly had spinks winning but that doesn't even matter i can't believe how people still bash on him after that performance yesterday coming back from the judah fight and being hated by almost all boxing fans the kid has heart he was really winded later on and im proud of him running and holding late than letting roman beat on him

From what i've read Spinks was running away avoiding a fight, yet many people here are apploading him, and im sure these are the same people who also called Delahoya Chicken after he Trinidad fight. From what everybody is saying I expect Michal Katz to once again call another figher a "Chicken" and this time it goes to Spinks, I won't expect anything less.
