UKAD are not the only testing org who allow oxylofrine outside competition. USADA allows it too, because they follow WADA rules, just like UKAD.This geezer was giving GGG a change to fight at a catch above 168... which logically means Froch would prefer 175. This is common sense. And Groves is bigger than GGG.
Let's be real, at 168, Froch is a big guy. The way he looked super drained in all his weigh ins shows he easily rehydrated to 185lbs on fight night. Even his walk around weight was the same frame as the Krusher. And we all know, Groves is a big guy as well at 168.
Ever since Billy Joe Saunders got caught, my perspective with UK boxing and the use of Oxilofrine and what Hearn said regarding UKAD, I think a lot of UK boxers have taken advantage of this loophole. No wonder many boxers took advantage of this wonder drug to cut weight EASILY all while UKAD allows it.. smh. I mean Callum Smith is HUGE and hydrating to 185lbs +
With all that being said, Froch saw an older BHOP try against Kovalev, but Froch wouldn't dare try to snag more belts at 175 where he would be comfortable?
VADA are the only ones who don't allow it, and Smith is in the VADA CBP.
Froch was one of the few modern fighters, like Floyd, who fought at his walk around weight, or very close to it. He didn't need to drain himself to make 168.Comment

The OP is the same clown who used to call himself Floyds Mask, Mirko Troll Cop, etc, and this thread is just a round about way to shit on all fighters who don't "dare to be great" by moving up divisions .. AKA, Golovkin.Froch wasn’t great. Sure, he had a good career, made excellent money Im sure but he’s not a great fighter and had he pushed himself further (his competition was consistently good I’ll give him that) he’d have lost again. I don’t think he was quite capable of beating truly elite fighters.Comment

But his team said anyone from 154-168 though and yet never moved from 160 his whole career. He was complacent fighting tomato cans at 160 instead of chasing bigger challenges at 154 or 168.Comment

chasing bigger challenges at 154? you mean canelo...who was the mw champion? I know, ggg shoulda moved up to fight ward at 168 and moved down to fight canelo at 154, but canelo didn't need to "move up" to the division he was champion in to face ggg, and ward didn't need to move down even 4lbs to make the fight at a cw.Comment

Ah. I’ll report him again as usual and we’ll get him banned again. Thanks.Comment

He was scheduled to fight Chavez jr. At 172lbs (Until Chavez pulled out)
Tried to get Froch out of retirement at 170 (Backed out because Froch said 172 then 171 lowest and wouldn't budge)
But wouldn't fight Ward at 168
Funny how certain fighters you are willing to do anythimg to get in the ring with, but not others

Froch was the man faced everyone and was already retiring when all these others names started poping up. I dont fault him for retiring cause he stayed retired so he was out the game already.Comment
