awful mismatch but I guess Lomas handlers want a performance to make him look good again after his last showing

Crawford-Spence is the best fight to be made in boxing IMO but it’s likely never going to be “superfight” that requires two networks to cooperate on PPV. Arum is arguably the GOAT promoter but his stubbornness is a real problem at times when making these sort of fights.
I think we will end up seeing it. Early 2020 is my guess. The two fighters will force that fight.

Just the Co-PPV comments are not realistic at the moment. That only flies for mega mega showdowns. This is just a great fight, that would do good but not spectacular numbers on PPV.

They both have PPVs coming up in the upcoming months. Guessing that will be a big factor in determining what network ends up getting the fight.

They will not force Loma to vacate if TR loses the purse bid. Unless they want Loma extremely pissed off.
So, if Eddie bids more, Loma will fight on DAZN.

Good point. It’ll be interesting to see who draws the bigger PPV audience.
I really hope we see it, I just have a bad feeling it’s gonna be one of those great matchups we miss out on. I could see Spence moving up in weight in the not so distant future and I have no faith in Haymon and Arum to work together. Really hope I’m wrong though...

Nothing of the sort, it is a mandatory defense. Lom would rather fight top names but they are tied up or haven't moved into his division yet. His next fight after this will be a better name.

I do wonder if Arum would have Lomachenko vacate the belt if he loses the bid. I mean he will get him a title against Commey next, but if Lomachenko wants to be undisputed, then obviously vacating is not an option.

Crolla has no chance, but it is what it is.
why would arum make loma vacate? he'd only be going to fight on dazn for one fight a super winnable fight at that let hearn overbid have loma crush crolla and then come back to espn.

Because Lomachenko along with Crawford are his two big ratings draws? If it is just a case of one fight, then wouldn't Arum just let Crawford go to FOX/SHO for one fight against say Spence? No, he wants a piece of the action for ESPN for both guys in whatever fight they are in.
