AJ is supposed to be theA side of the world, biggest heavyweight champion of all time.

Yet he still can’t get an opponent eleven weeks out?

Don't be silly, people want career high paydays because he is a cash cow, it's only natural, stop acting like that is out of the ordinary.

Fighters turning down career high paydays and asking for 5x or 10x they've ever earned is ridiculous.

Well... biggest payday right now at HW. He seems to call the shots, don't he?

But your point is stinking valid. Both fighters should be in camps by now, and they still haven't got offers accepted yet? It is strange, especially since they announced the date for his next fight before his last one. The whole situation smells a little funny.

Ortiz would have took this for "1" rib and a pack of Coors light. Better fight than Fat Baby Miller and Ortiz is more deserving.

Question..... what would happen if Joshua retired tomorrow ?

Answer.... all these guys would be fighting each other for for a % of chump change ... if they took their chance and box for three belts they could have an opportunity to be world champion and earn a % of a very high gross figure or very high flat fee. Something is only worth what you can get for it, no more and no less. Like I say if Joshua retires tomorrow most of these guys would be flipping burgers on Monday and fighting on Saturday ... by all means negotiate but know when your in a win win situation or go and steal hub caps off cars or something .. how many sell 15,000 seats let alone 90,000

that's actually the opposite of what is happening.

joshua (or hearn to be accurate) are lowballing anyone who is a threat or not under matchroom contract. fury and wilder in particular have just been insulted by the offers received.

miller isnt ******. he knows he is the fight hearn wants for joshua and that he is backed into a corner. so he is trying to cash in big. whole reason he signed with hearn was likely predicting this very situation.

hearn not wanting to risk joshua losing and wanting to keep all the money in-house.
