      i doubt mung gets tested

a loss now to the inexperienced mung would not be good for the aura of mung, now he is recognised as a big puncher who has shown that he can be outboxed if he comes up against the right opponent, but no-one has seen him lose yet, just seen him lose rounds, so mung will still be popular as curiosity will develop into his unbeaten record whilst holding a world title and having a fan-friendly style

And saying that a Mexican fighter went to the body is a change in style is dishonest at best.
Liam Smith is a former 154 champ who only other defeat was to Canelo, who else has a better name in their resume than Smith of the guys you mention? I know Haney, Teofimo or Shakur don’t. However, credit to Lubin for taking Charlo as such a young age but again kid had his light sparked in the 1st round not saying Munguia would beat Charlo now b/c as I said before kid is still a work in progess but I know damn well he would of made it out of the 1st round. De La Hoya also said he would like to put Canelo against Jermall and Munguia against Jermell so take that for what is worth. Yes, improving your offensive repertoire does count as an improvement to me again look at Munguia against Smith head hunting all night w/t Inoue kid was throwing some beautiful one two combos to the body his defense will come with more experience. I mean look @ Canelo when he was 22 no where near the fighter he is now at 28, with time comes improvement and so far Munguia has shown a willingness to learn.

Smith has some good wins against Williams. And is ranked like 8 by ESPN and 10 boxing rec.

Munguia has a good trainer with 1 year of work. DAZN gonna spend the money for better sparring partners , traiing, Nutrition , etc.

They made him relocate S. Cali so he should get some better sparring in now. Skies the limit.

Canelo at 22 was a pudgy cement shoes, non head moving, crappy defense. Not he's p4p top 3

Trainers DO help a LOT!!! Stewered with Lewis and Klitz trained them to hide their suspect chins.

Garcia with Maidana was night and day.

A bad trainer or team can wreck you. See Boone, Tyson against Douglas. I mean they cut Tyson with their chain bling lol.

I am sure he knows who Andrade is, Boxers know who are the top people in or around their weight. Some say they don't know who they are as a way of disrespect.

yeah I agree, you could see he was already trying to implement some things, he needs a couple of years until he becomes more polished

it really is on him though.

You know I mentioned Tank as well. He a much better resume and that's with damn near a year lay off.Hell people are calling for him to fight a P4P top 3 in Lomochenko, but Mungina needs time before Charlo, Harrison, Hurd and J-Rock.

Mungina threw body punches before. That's nothing new. He was supposed to showcase versus the much smaller Smith so he chased a KO with headshots and was being beaten through much of the rds. His physicality wore smith down, not any skills. And it seems that was the case this weekend as well. For someone who has been a pro for 6 years I would expect to have seen more improvement than this.

LOL, talk about weight bully didn’t Tank get stripped of his IBF belt for coming in 2 lbs over the limit? Also, stop acting like Tank didn’t cherry pick the weakest champion @ 130 at the time in Pedraza to win a belt not to mention fighting a dude in Cellular a career 126 lbs to win a vacant belt. Please the real WBA champ @ 130 is Machado kid beat the real Champ at the time in Corrales. You’re right though having Pedraza and Cellular on your resume is so much better than Smith and Ali, LOL. Let’s no forget Tank next opponent another former 122 lbs in Mares dude definitely loves fighting smaller men but whatever gives him the edge I guess. Funny, how you seem to act like Munguia hasn’t improved in 6 yrs as you say did you go to TJ and see him fight over there? because I find it extremely difficult to believe you been following Munguia’s progress since he turn pro. Right now, you’re talking out of your @zz, the kid has holes in his game no question but he’s also 22 yrs old getting used to a new trainer in Alcazar progression will follow with time and experience.

I am really sick of the corrupt s hit boxing forces on people. mungula look 20lbs bigger maybe more then inoway. this is every big fight. guys like spence Crawford Jacobs etc coming in much bigger then the opponent. weight scales at the weigh in are fixed. Manny made a career out of fighting guys much bigger but it was known by everyone. inoway was inoue in the same weight class as fungula. 2 classes below. messican boxing has gotten so corrupt. it is out of control and ODH is at the head of it

What fight were you watching? We get it, you like Munguia, but don’t sit back and say he wasn’t being walked down by the smaller Japanese fighter. He literally was walking Munguia down like Margarito did in his heyday. Inoue didn’t have any power to put Munguia away.
