I’d like to see Kownacki vs. Ortiz. The outcome of that fight would give us a clearer picture of how he would do against Wilder.

Hahaha riiight. Kownacki is a fkin bum straight up.

I kept thinking to myself yesterday like Wilder would destroy this dude quick. Too much speed and power for the marshmellow man.

Ortiz entire reputation is based off him beating Jennings easier than Klitschko did... So let me ask you this: is Kownacki better than Wilder since he beat Szpilka and Washington easier than Wilder did?

ortiz's rep isnt just based off that...its based off being a good, lefthanded, boxer/puncher

yall musta forgot how you acted toward him when you thought wilder was ducking him and how yall talked about him pre wilder signing up to fight him......then that all got shattered once wilder signed up to fight him....then he DID fight him and ortiz became 70 years old

I'm not too optimistic about Kownacki. Gerald Washington fought an absolutely ****** fight. Which top heavyweight will stand right in front of Kownacki just as Washington did, and allow himself to get punched in the head without returning fire? Kownacki would get clipped in between his sloppy punches if he was in with any of the top heavyweights, I believe. He just too open defensively and he's not that quick handed...and his feet are slow too. He seems like he's decent in his own lard-@ss way but that win was as much due to Washington's incompetence as it was Kownacki's skill and power.

Wilder may not be the most skilled and could get outboxed but his power will always be an equalizer against anyone.

I think you're right about Kownacki's pressure being something that Wilder's potentially weak against and could give him a way to victory, but it could just as easily walk him into Wilder's right hand. That's potentially a good fight down the line one way or another, but right now Wilder has bigger fish to fry and I don't think Kownacki has quite worked his way into title contention yet. Let him pick up another couple of good wins while the Wilder - Joshua - Fury trio works itself out a little better.

Washington is quite a limited boxer, it shows quick the HW prospects get moved along. This was adam 19th fight. He didnt have to wait for 30 odd fights to fight someone of this level.

Just a fat guy who'll stand in front of Wilder may as well be the Stiverne trilogy.
