Comments Thread For: Keith Thurman: I Said You Wouldn't See The Best Version of Me

Keith Thurman successfully defended his WBA super welterweight belt with a majority decision over Josesito Lopez after almost two years on the sidelines. Thurman was back in the ring for the first time since beating Danny Garcia by split decision in March 2017 an elbow and hand injury keeping the American out of action.

We only saw the version of you almost getting knocked out by a C class fighter.

I saw Run Time Thurman once again. I'll give him his due - he knows how to back pedal in a hurry. Lopez was excellent, really had a good go at Thurman.

Keith's been out for a long time and it looked that way but the worry was him be buzzed so badly and so much running against a relatively light hitter.

What is the best version? Against Porter, Garcia, Guerrero, Bundu, Zaveck? Thurman stopped none of them.

And Lopez gave you a realy hard test dude.

Thurman should fight Berto or Alexander next. Top 147 guys are too much for him.

Thurman's the only guy who has actually faced top 147lb guys.

Actually I give Thurman props. It is a real art of boxing fighting though competition, not look very good in so many fights and still keep winning.
