It wasn’t a great fight. First 6 rounds were an ass whoopin. But it got a little interesting. Lopez punched himself out in the 7th going for it. Almost had it too

Same thing when DSG got that one card against Thurman.

Seems like the judges don't like how much he moves in 2nd half of fights and score it the opposite way.

Prolly had it 6-6 but score the 7th a 10-8 round. 7-5 would have Lopez up 1 with the kd

Damn Thurman haters out in full force. He looked really sharp the first 6 rounds, got lazy and rocked in 7/8 but survived (some call exposed some say it shows grit) and dominated the rest of the fight. 2yrs of ring rust, what do you expect. Great fight by Lopez, true heart and a helluva chin. That 113-113 judge needs to be suspended

Really don't need justification for that fight. Pac against any of the top PBC WWs is a good fight. Thurman vs Pac would be a fun competitive fight.

Still don't know why Al would do that though. Perfect opportunity to build the winner of Spence/Garcia with the Pacquiao fight. Thurman has proven to unreliable and at this point has no chance of being anything more than what he is. Which is a solid draw and good name, but not a superstar. Spence or Garcia on the other hand DO have that potential.
