Former undisputed heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis has reacted to the recent comments from promoter Eddie Hearn, Hearn, who promotes IBF, IBO, WBA, WBO world champion Anthony Joshua, has not been happy with the various comments being made by Lewis with respect to Joshua. He called Lewis a "geezer" and believes the retired boxer is simply jealous of Joshua's success.

Lewis is not a puppet or slave to UK pride. He calls it like it is, and he's right in his statement that Joshua is now the odd man out. No matter who Joshua faces next, it won't outshine wilder vs fury 2.

Lennox made it plain for everybody to understand! I knew it wouldn't be long before Eddie said something about him, being that he (Lennox) was interviewed by Showtime and asked about AJ's status as HW champ.

I like what Lewis said here. He (rightly) sees boxing as a sport, not a business, and he calls it how it is.

It's good to see someone as great in the sport of boxing shouting up for the fans and himself as a fan. Lennox makes nothing but sense here and it 's a breath of fresh air that he voices just the facts as they stand. This doesn't suite Barry & Edward as their agenda was to avoid Wilder until they banked all the money and hopefully the threat would have either gone away or have lessened.Fury put the brakes on that and as Lennox rightly states Hearn told Wilder he had little value but is now 'begging him' to take the fight .This is gross mismanagement or at the very least completely over looking the true landscape. The Hearns have made themselves and Joshua good money but their arrogance is now costing them dearly.

What ever the hearns and Joshua announce next is not going to set the world on fire .The announcement of Wilder v Fury 2 is another story! Edward has been caught with his pants down...again!
