Tommy likee. Tommy likee alot. If the Liam Smith to Rocky Fielding progression continues, it will be fun to see if Canelo can corner him enough to chop him down from the body.

Define run. If boxing well of the back foot is running then Canelo ran from GGG in their first fight, would you agree with that?

Everyone has styles they like and dislike but I hate reading posts describing one fighter as a runner yet when their favourite fighter adopts a similar style it’s boxing well of the back foot.

          Lara beat Canelo.
Lara has only himself to blame for that loss. He went from boxing beautifully off the back foot, countering Canelo at will and making him look clumsy to straight up running and not throwing punches.
He hadn’t built up enough of a lead to do that, in close fights you have to take risks to be great. You don’t deserve to win if you’re reluctant to throw because you’ve felt your opponents power, if you don’t leave it all in their don’t complain about the outcome.

Canelo is perfect for Vegas. He has a great chin and will just get every decision no matter what.

Look at Pac-Broner - two judges had it 116-112 - when Broner didn't even win a round but maybe you can give him 2 pity rounds.

How can you compare the two fights. Canelo spent a lot of time in the ropes in the first fight and sometimes went there for no reason that I could see. He wasn't having much luck along the ropes but he went there because he didn't want to fight in the center of the ring. That's not boxing off the back foot. Boxing off the back foot means giving ground to set up your punches. Boxing off the back foot is what Golovkin did in the second fight. What Canelo did in the first fight was a failed game plan.

And it is also a shame that you guys are upping a guy that is on PED's 24/7.
