Ok so it's $26 I guess thats 3 six packs of Modelo instead of 2. WOW!!! I can buy 3 ppv fights overseas to 1 here.

I dont really give a ***! I buy at least 3-4 a year anyways. And I also dont give a *** if casual fans boosts the sales or not. Floyd/McNugget did great buys. I didn't pay or watch it to this day.

I was one of the very few to buy Postol/Crawford.
I was one of the very few as well!!! So we were in an exclusive club. I will likely pass on this one though so they did add Lopez and I'm a big fan of his. Give him a legitimate opponent and good chance I end up buying it lol.

Bob Arum said in regards to Crawford vs Khan, " Now some will buy it and some won’t but at least they will make an intelligent decision.”

If they make an intelligent decision they won't be buying it.

How many ppv's you think Floyd sold before he fought Oscar??
Oscar only had like 2 ppvs that did over 1 million in his whole career that didn't involve Manny or Floyd and was in more PPVs than Floyd. Floyd was doing around 350 PPVs for his first 3 PPV fights before Oscar. Oscar actually did less PPVs than Floyd in his first 3 PPVs. For being the so called PPV star in his time, he wasn't selling like Floyd did. Tyson was the reall PPV star selling over 1 million for most of his fights

Boxing needs to work as ONE and not against each other. This sport will NEVER be as big as the other sports when it is a divide within it among fans, Promoters, Managers and Advisers. Put Egos aside come together and try to make the sport more fun and more interesting for Casual Fans to be willing to spend their money on it.

Just too much Negativity within this sport because guys are in this Race to the TOP and it is all about EGO! We need DAZN, ESPN/ESPN+, PBC to all do well and to be SUSTAINABLE! If one of them fail that leaves a lot of fighters fighting off air maybe on Facebook or Youtube fighting in Small Venues with absolutely nobody watching or caring

That US fans get ripped off by paying 3 times more than UK fans or that the US has a population almost 5 times more than the UK?
US fans only pay for fights that are considered big enough to be on PPV. There's usually 2-3 PPV fights in a year. The UK fans are the ones who are getting ripped of by being forced to pay for any decent fight. Most of the fights that are put on Sky PPV would be regular network fights in the US. You have certain fighters who think they're PPV stars in boxing because they sell 400k PPVs in the UK when they would barely be fighting on regular cards in the US. Most of the recent big fights in the US would be considered PPV fights by UK standards.

Unless Americans just like seeing Khan get knocked out.

                  It’s a truly woeful PPV.

It comes to something when they’d get laughed at if they tried and offered this as PPV in the UK.

Bob Arum is taking the piss
Didn't you guys have some garbage fight like Brook/Gavin and Brook/Jennings on SKy PPV? I wouldn't compare the garbage fights Sky puts on PPV to the ones the US does.

                      No.

Brook’s first PPV fight was getting smashed to bits by GGG.

Eubank Jr is the worst PPV I can think of but that was £10 and on ITV. Against Quinlan an Aussie club fighter.

But there is obvious levels to this. Even our big PPVs are cheap

I don’t even know why Khan is in there with Crawford.

I can’t understand why they’ve blown $5 million dollars on him.

I can understand the Brook thing they’re both winding down.

                      But this.

In terms of odds of winning vs purse. Khan is being massively over valued basically.

$5 million gets you Khan who took an age out of the ring and has been through the ringer. I don’t even know how he’s got that value over there.

As a Khan fan I know he’ll get in there - give it a go and get knocked out. And then I hope he retires with that sweet pension pot. He’s been a great ambassador for the game over here from the age of 17.

But as a fight fan I can’t actually bring myself to stay up to 5 a.m to watch what is a
                      showcase fight for Crawford.
