Espinoza isn't going to agree to no $20 million guarantee here knowing damn well it isn't getting to 700k+ buys.
espinoza didn’t guarantee anything. He doesn’t have to

i heard canelo khan did almost 600k. Wouldn’t call that around the same number.

And to think Pac-Bradley did almost 900k ppv buys and rematch almost 800k....

It was 460k. Remember Jake who used to write for this site? He reported it as 460k and Eric Gomez eventually admitted it

Espinoza is a realist, I doubt he thought this fight would do crazy numbers or anything. With Pac's purses of course you have to prepare to use some of your budget money on the fight.
i think 400 as well. As for espinoza he has no risk. Just like when Pac-Bradley 3 bombed. Arum took the loss liken haymon in this case. Hbo didn’t take any loss. Just collect their percentage. Haymons end game is Mayweather rematch.

We don't know what was guaranteed or not. How else would a network ever lose money if they make no guarantees? There is a number this PPV had to hit to cover the expenses for the network.

That means Pac is the biggest draw in the game.

Networks absolutely take some risks on the PPVs. It depends how the deal is agreed upon but go listen to Evan Rutkowski's podcast about when PPVs fall short of networks expectations if there is a certain sum of money they guarantee on their end. This leads to taking money from their boxing budget.

400k in the US means it made money period. This is why Pac dumped Arum so his promotion company wouldn't have to share overseas income with them.

PBC/May promotions are getting that 400k side Pac is getting the overseas portion.
lmao. Manny has a 20mil guarantee. Most is from the USA. Mayweather Promotions collected a fee to coordinate the event. There wasn’t 20 mil from Asia. Sure manny takes the Philippine money but show us the link he didn’t take the US money. That’s the most nonsense I ever heard.

Especially for a fight that took place in the AM in Asia.

If the Asian money was awhat a Manny got he could have done the fight in Asia’s and got more money for doing itnin ptimentime and sold the American rights to DAZN and not gave PBC Arum or anyone a dime.

And he could have had every single ppv slot for his own guys. Nice try though.

everywhere I look I see close to 600k. If it was inflated wouldn’t u think there is a good chance these numbers are a little inflated too?

On the other hand who would have thought soft spoken Tim bradley would double Broner’s numbers?
