Comments Thread For: Frank Warren: Joshua Made Massive Mistake in Snubbing Wilder

ANTHONY JOSHUA made a massive mistake when he turned down more than 60m for two fights with Deontay Wilder last year. Now, the WBA, IBF, IBO and WBO champion will be looking on enviously as he sits in Tyson Fury's slipstream. Talks are continuing for Fury to face WBC champion Deontay Wilder in a rematch later this year, while Joshua's promoter Eddie Hearn is busy making what I would call derisory offers to both men.

Absolutely and imagine if the rematch is anywhere near as exciting as their first fight then fans will be clamouring for a trilogy.

I was in New york for the Lomochenko fight last month and the Americans were so impressed with Fury from the previous week .The biggest market place in world boxing. So yes you have to agree with Frank here , it's turned out to be fact!

Oh for the love of god shut up Frank

He made more for Povetkin than Fury and Wilder made combined fighting each other and he'll probably make more again fighting whyte

Then the winner of Fury and Wilder will have only one place to go and thats to AJ, and the loser will go to the back of the queue

Warren once again more interested in **** talking a rival fighter who never feels the need to tear down warren or his fighters, than promoting his own fighters.

      just shut the **** up

Eddie and AJ have been out manoeuvred but AJ has the majority of the belts but it has certainly stirred things up

Really? So they can’t just go on the merry go round of fighting all the next tier down like Hearn wants Joshua to do? Why is that?

                  Well they can

I'm sure 90,000 will pack out wembley stadium to see Fury take on Kubrat Pulev

And Wilder will surely have the LAX airport in chaos as high rollers from around the world buy their 100k tickets to see him take on Dominic "Trouble" Brezeale in an all american mega-clash

Meanwhile in the real world, they are going to need Joshua

i love it. Wilder can fight the top 10 HW mandatories over the next 3 years, avoiding aj altogether.
the look on ajs face = priceless!
