But why did Pacquiao 10 years ago come up with every reason in the book to not give blood for a few years?

    “It weakens me”
    “It’s a disadvantage because I’m smaller”
    “Don’t like needles”
    “It’s an insult”
    “Floyd just scared”
“Let the commission do its job”
    Etc....

Why??? As boxing fans we cannot overlook this.
History shows there was fault on both sides during the negotiations. So no, boxing fans shouldn't overlook it, but if people crucify manny for taking PED's without proof(and no, not taking a blood test is not proof), then thats a bigger travesty.

At the end of the day, they fought, and floyd won. Timing will be suspect, and ppl's respect for both fighters somewhat diminished since the fight was a dud, but its over now. And in the end, at least for me, it felt like we all lost after that fight was done.

      It was very su****ious behavior.

Just think: Floyd had agreed to all terms for the fight when both were close to prime...and it all went down the drain just because Pacquiao didn't want to agree to the testing.

      Shameful.

It was a negotiation. Both camps jockeying for terms. People blame both camps for not making it work. Definitely enough blame to go all around. Wrong to pin it on one side, especially when ppl on the other side think floyd threw the blood test in there in order to derail the fight. They would equally claim that action as "shameful".

        This argument will never end.

Floyd had agreed to all terms. Pacquiao turned the fight down just because of the drug testing.

The same drug testing that he willingly does now.

History will not be kind to Pac on that score.

Because I know a PROFESSIONAL BOXER who turned down 50+ million.

This isn't even an argument. Pacquaio is the one who eventually accepted.

Love him or hate him, when its all said and done, Pac will be a first ballot HOF and eventually comes down as one of the best of all time period.
Floyd gave a sample IMMEDIATELY BEFORE AND AFTER he used the IV.

You are missing the point. IV vitamins can mask other agents,he could’ve been doping or used Peds or drugs who knows. Floyd had used IV vitamins and his excuse was he was dehydrated and he violated USADA rule but it was USADA not VADA lol! Good old Luis Ortiz got caught with hydrochlorothiazide(blood pressure med, possible masking agent) by VADA and his first fight against Wilder got scrapped. The difference is Floyd is Floyd whereas Ortiz is not Floyd and had a history of steroid use in the past.

Just for fyi for everyone in this forum. Fact: Floyd took Saline and multivitamins intravenously before Pac fight(after the weigh in to be more specific). That was a red flag cause getting such IV could use to dilute or mask other substance/s (fact).
