Yep, pretty good diagnosis. The team around him sucks and clearly does not keep it real with him

      • One of the best highlights was listening to Broner's trainer between rounds. He sounded mad as hell no doubt.

        • I am ashamed of myself for having considered the possibility of an upset by Broner.

Fortunately I was wise enough this time not to back that idiocy with a bet on him.

He cant even dared to do that in this fight. The Broner version since that fight has been better and other than maybe one or two rounds, Manny made him look pedestrian and put him in survival mode and he was basically trying to not get knocked out so pls tell me where Mikey beat Broner worse than tonight
your lying ass is f.o. s . Which rds did broner do anything but get his ass beat? show me where he EVER looked competitive vs Mikey let alone this madeup bs your claiming, but you won't because its bs.

Hectari, does this all the time. If you follow his posts, everyone always beats Pac, yet he is a known P@ct@rd. It is like reverse psychology or something.

Styles make fight. Manny has always been a sucker for counterpunchers with good right hands, timing, patience, footwork and boxing IQ (not converted southpaws) ala, Dela Hoya, Cotto and Hatton. I am talking about Morales, Marquez, Mayweather, etc. The thing Manny had going for him was his stamina, and throwing numerous punches from weird angles. However, since he fired Ariza, all that disappeared. Yes, Ariza was Manny's "secret weapon" not Freddy.

There is nothing Mikey brings to the table that Manny hasn't seen.
Seeing something is one thing, but being able to do something about it is another thing. Manny knows one way to fight and that is dart in and out throwing punches. He fought Marquez four times and still couldn't figure him out and end up darting into a right hand.

Mikey is not physical, faster or powerful to the point where Manny stamina might betray him. Trust me Mikey wont know what hit him when those punches start landing and we see Manny can work his way around counters too.
No, he is not physical, but highly skill with a high boxing IQ. He will set traps for Manny. His footwork is impeccable where he will having Manny misjudging distances, reaching and getting countered. Anytime Manny reaches in, when he found himself out of position, he always pulls straight back and Marquez and Morales always made him pay for this. I saw it couple times with Broner, but Broner's IQ is low and also Broner is a coward who doesn't take chances.

I think Broner’s biggest problem is that he doesn’t fight to his strengths. He’s at his best when he’s coming forward, landing sharp, thudding shots to the head and body and wearing his opponent down. And mixing in the catching and shooting while coming forward. But for whatever reason he wants to be this slick defensive counterpuncher and he’s just not. At least not against top level guys. But north of 35, he doesn’t seem to have anything to keep guys off him. And guys seem to being willing to go after him and accept the couple flashy counters that AB will land through the course of the fight.
This is same thing for me. It is frustrating watching him. He even makes his corner looks bad, because he doesn't listen to them. He is trying to fight like a pass prime (Money) Mayweather rather than fight like a prime (Prettyboy) Floyd. Floyd at that age was superb, so many punch variations, as Larry once said, "he's (Floyd's) throwing punches we haven't seen yet in the book". I just think Adrien just might be ******ed. There is just no other way to explain it.
