Broner is good, defensively. Good not great. But with his skillset, speed and pure athletism he must be the most limited offensive fighter with those aforementioned attributes. It's damn frustrating to see him fight against equal or better competition.

I can't understand why people compared him to Mayweather. Rockin' the Philly-shell/shoulder roll doesn't make make you great. It takes more to it than that.

Broner knows how to move but he sure as **** doesn't know when to press the fight. I also know that a lot of that should be credited to Manny but Broner has done this before: watching his opponents miss without doing anything about it.

Mayweather would either get off first with a quick snapping jab to the head or body or bust you up with a counter straight right hand or even lead with it. Every single time his opponent makes a mistake, he gets punished. Broner just looks at you...and looks... And looks...and sometimes throws a punch or two. Also, he can't fight going backwards.

agree... broner is b class at best. Manny looked ok but this fight was a joke.

For Broner, I've narrowed it down to this:

1. He doesn't have the stamina to throw an even average amount of punches per round

2. He won't throw because he doesn't want to leave himself open to be hit flush

3. He really thinks he can land one big shot and get guys out of there.

Or a combo of all 3

Broners problem is probably the fact he does have that moments of flash counters and thinks hes capable of completely dominating whoever hes in the ring with because he can get away with it in sparring ,and when he does get tagged or beaten to the punch his mind just resets and figures he'll get a flashy counter next time but the same thing happens over and over,he has no game plan out of pure ignorance and a sparring mentality

I think he can counter Danny Garcia. He is way faster than Danny, has good power and has great chin. With the right strategy, he can just counter danny all day with that speed and get out.

Styles make fights. And Broner probably wouldn’t have to worry about being outworked by Danny. But Broner hasn’t done anything north of the lightweight division, especially at welterweight, to suggest he could beat a legitimate contender. Danny hasn’t been a world beater at 47 either. But I think he’s still better than AB.

Manny beat him like most of us thought he would. Most of us said Broner isn’t busy enough and he would lose to Manny by decision. Most of us gave Broner credit for his heart and thought he would go the distance. Most of us thought Manny had enough in the tank to beat Broner. Nothing suprised “most of us.” It’s the idiots that don’t know boxing that gave Broner a chance LOL!
