Fox and showtime war chest hasn’t outdone DAZNs yet and if it goes to purse bid (which the WBC won’t want to piss off CAnelo again so is unlikely for a long time) Canelo can just dump his belt and charlo can continue to fight bums like centeno korobov and Heiland. He gets left at the alter again.

Golovkin ducked Saunders like he had the plague, he had THREE opportunities to make that fight..... but on each of those occasions Golovkin selected someone else

Terrence Crawford has his title; if he wants to fight the other top fighters at his weight, he knows where they are and what to do.

Jermall Charlo is the mandatory challenger, folks can say what they want, but as long as he is the WBC champion, Canelo has taken his last option before having to fight him or give up the belt.

Now, once Charlo gets his world title (either by elevation or winning his shot in the Fall), the conversation shifts. The Canelo-Jacobs winner will be WBA/IBF champion, Andrade will be the WBO champion, and Charlo would be full WBC champion.

Golovkin is an option, Saunders is an option, and then there are some solid fights under that.

With his world championship around his waist, and TV backing, Charlo has comparative value to offer Golovkin or Saunders (against what can be offered for Canelo or Andrade on DAZN), and he is sitting on more than enough of a pie to get a bunch of other fights worth seeing. (Unlike Crawford, lol)

Jacobs cant pull the trigger, thats his biggest problem, he fought to survive vs a 35 year old GGG who he outweighed by 15lb, so he most probably will be in another close fight and lose to Canelo, Canelo losing on the cards vs Jacobs? How so? Jacobs went life and death with Derevyanchenko, many people thought the fight was a draw or even Sergey won. Canelo is in his prime, much younger and will probably be on the best juice and has the judges in his pocket + stacked handwraps on fight night.

Jacobs will have too much respect and fight to survive and then complain that he didnt get the decision. I would love to see a knockout for whoever but I just dont see it, i see another close decision for Canelo.
